jhonny seven gun biggrin ,it was great, anyone remember them?.,it was massive or so it seemed .love to see one again!!!

I too loved my 'Johnny Seven' gun: I've mentioned it on here before and would love to see one again. Lord knows how many hours I played with it. I also loved a gun that shot round corners and my 'Meccano' set.
I am currently sitting here looking at my Brooke bond Tea Card collections from 1963
onwards and Rupert Annuals from 1963 onwards.
After me.....'sad'
I had a toy dalek. You pressed a button on the top of it and it would say the usual things a dalek says eg Attack, Attack, Attack and Exterminate in a realistic dalek voice. It is probably somewhere in my parent's loft, which hides many of the toys and books that belonged to my Brother and I.

Can't believe no-ones mentioned Hornby trainsets...... Mine's still in the loft and probably worth a bomb (30 years old and all in boxes), but ungrateful sod that I was, although I had many happy hours with it, I always wanted a Scalextric set. Guess what my son got for Christmas the other year! We have a joint Lego collection as well but better not mention that..... biggrin

I would have to say...................mine was not your run of the mill toy.

WOW what a subject biggrin
My fav Toy was my Steve Austin Bionic man ..

That and the Evil Kinevil Wind up stunt Bike..
Ecky Thump ! those were the Days.
LEGO was just the greatest. I used to have a huge amount of LEGO in a big wooden storage box my dad made for me (it even had a LEGO logo painted on the top. biggrin ) This was passed down to my younger brother, who added more LEGO to the collection. He then passed the box on to my sister's boys who have again added to the collection. Looks like I've started a little family tradition there... lol
In fact my LEGO is the only childhood toy I still own. I've moved so many times over the past few years that I had to get realy ruthless with what I kept and what I didn't. (it's a hard life trying to keep one step ahead of the authorities...)
