Ooh - when (and I hope I'm not offending anyone here, you've already seen I'm certifiable from my list above) when anyone over the age of 20 calls their parents Mummy and Daddy

Bet you're off PoshKates xmas list now :haha:
(sorry Poshy kiss)
Aaah but she only looks about 20, so that's ok - errrrmmm.... I mean, Meaty - delete yours quick so I can delete mine!

Saying yes/no in quick succession when asked a question. (ie I have to use both to cover my ass in all eventualities)
That's the dumbest thing to have come about in recent years.
One word which I think is awful is testicles.
Who thought of that word to describe a set of balls? lol
Anyone for tennis?
in swinging terms.... I hate the word "action"
as in Wheres the "action" at, when does the "action" start, this club is crap because there was no "action" tonight ect ect...
It is just so impersonal in terms of swinging...it really really makes me cringe when I hear it out of peoples mouths....

I find that's more a cockney thing. Taffs tend to say 'like' at the end of a sentence. Know what I mean, like?

I've been trying to find this story but cannot using Google.. as it links with this thread.
An American Man goes into a Violent Rage everytime he hears the word New Jersey.
This fella is not even from that part of the word & has never been for logical reasons.
Can anyone please locate this story on the Internet, please.
It was less than 5yrs ago.. if that helps.
Maybe some research has come about this man condition & would explain why certain words just get people....

OK Honey :giggle:
Thinking about it, I do get irritated by people who use terms of endearment carelessly. Same with swearing.
People who litter their sentences with love or chick or whatever, and those who punctuate every breath with fuck, shit etc. It's lazy and thoughtless and takes all meaning out of the words.
nice n cute i mean wtf lets be a tad more specific n used in the same sentance urghhh oh n hate bein called love
