What would you do with the sporting almanac?

I had a discussion with my brother yesterday and we were talking about what we would do if we had the sporting almanac from Back to the Future 2.
I thought it would be immoral/wrong to bet seeing as you are cheating. But then i know i would feel horrible if i didnt do any bets with the help of my magic book.
So i was wondering whether people would bet or not.

I know I just wouldn't be able to help myself confused

To try and redeem myself, I would probably guess the winner of whatever the bet was about beforehand ......... check it out in the book, then if it was the right guess, would go down and put money on it cool

Hmmmmm but there again - even if I done wrong guesses all the way through the book and not put money on it for that reason - I just know I would cheat at the end, look up the last one anyway and put money on it. rolleyes

The bookies wouldnt know what hit em, they have a multitude of ways of screwing you out of your money and I should know..lol. So from horseracing to midget tossing the bookie for once would take a hiding.

However much I would like to say yes and get some debts paid off ... but .... I'd never live with the guilt afterwards so I probably wouldn't.

How about this one then:
If someone came up to you in a bar and said that a horse race or match of sorts was fixed and he told you exactly what to do, would you bet then?
(obviously these are all hiperthetical, but i am curious as to what others would say)
I dont know if i would but if i didnt i would feel so guilty, and regret it......
