Xmas Day
Asha is working in the morning, while I prepare Xmas dinner.
At some stage I will call my mother for advice on cooking something I have forgotten about.
Asha back around 3pm, we shall probably eat around 4pm, lots of pressies for her under our new fake, silver, xmas tree.
Go for a short walk to walk off dinner. ome back, open pressies, watch some TV
'Ah mr Bond, I've been expecting you....'
followed by rudies...
New Years Eve,
Suppose to be in Rotterdam, but where ever we are, I will be getting down on one knee and asking the big question.
mmmm I hope Asha doesn't read this forum before then. Fortunately she just tends to use chat.
This will be the first year I haven't managed to escape Christmas since being single.
I'm thinking about volunteering somewhere.

We open our pressies after midnight on Xmas eve. Smoked Salmon and scrambled eggs for brekkie, usual Christmas dinner then watch tv, play games and get sozzled! We have an addition to the family this Christmas - our puppy. I have a stocking hung up over the fire for him.
Get up on Christmas morning early(ish!) and light the log fire, get the bacon butties and fresh coffee on the go and then spend the next hour or two fighting off Mrs DD who will be head down, bum up under the christmas tree looking for her presses (which aren't there 'cause I've hidden 'em.. snigger..!!!)
When daughter finally arrives downstairs suffering, no doubt from a bad attack of face, Grandma will be summond from next door for the Grand Present Opening. The dogs will join in and the whole mess will be finished in time for me to start cooking the dinner.
Early evening... feet up.. log fire, cognac, cigar.. brain in neutral..cheers easy! oh and maybe an extra 'stocking gift' on the rug in front of the fire..keeping an eye open for any sparks which could burn ones bum...
Probably nip down the beach around 11am for an hour. back for a few glasses of sherry then christmas dinner on the balcony watching the sun set over the atlantic ocean.
Instead of arguing with ex spouses and rowing with family about who is eating where and who's turn it is to....... blah blah blah
