Ah, the 'fragrant' Faye - I find hers too 'nice' - but that's just cos I've read Jonathan's long before she took up her pen. I'm not suggesting that he's better or even good but I do enjoy a good thriller/physcological/detective novel in my down time. Ian Rankin, Peter Robinson; Rex Stout et al.

You should give Lee Childs a read, he has some very good stuff going..
Tripwire is a really good read..
