A munch is where a get together is organised in a purely social setting. A fantastic way to put faces to names, meet new friends etc
I'm still grinning from my 1st one a couple of weeks ago :D

Welcome to the forum Muff. Don't you listen to this lot. A munch is where we meet all the newbies and each have a little taste. So how you fixed for the NW Munch??

Not lepers at all - but I would reccommend joining in with the Forums or chatroom beforehand. That way it gives you chance to sus us all out and also the chance for us to get to know you. So when you do go to a munch people already know you, are comfortable with you and vice versa. Makes for a great time, you won't feel left out at all as you will, by then, know everyone etc.

I guess the honest answer, as I see it, is simple. However, I may of course be totally wrong in this and look to anybody else out there to correct me as needed !
If a single male goes thinking it's a chance of an easy lay or six, with it being a meet associated with a swinging forum, then he's liable to be surprised and disappointed, in that order.
However, if he's taken the time to get to know folks on here and really wants to mingle, natter and see the lovely people behind these posts then a great night is liable to be had !!
A Munch doesn't guarantee anything, much like many other things in life !! wink

Phew,
Now I'm not feeling quite so dumb.
These events sound like fun, I appreciate the advice & tips, oh and also the flattery biggrin

I live in London but would be prepared to travel to an event if invited, to be honest it would be nice just to chat with like-minded people so I wouldn't be upset in nothing happened but if it did wahey! Nice website Fred/Wilma, great photo's.
From what I can see there's mainly couples on here looking for bi women so I think I may have my work cut out, oh & I'm straight confused

Work cut out? Might I suggest that you're still missing the point slightly? Think of a munch purely as a relaxed social event, not a marketing exercise! Oh and I'm straight too....
