Might have done! Had slow cooked beef n ale stew last night and I'm pretty sure we're having slow cooked Madras this weekend too. I was sure it'd make cooking easier, but it doesn't. Just makes it take longer!

Me Mum always had one when I was ickle. Isnt the idea that you put the tea on when you go to work then its ready when you get in confused: :weneedafoodbasedemoticon:
Today we had Spiced breaded chicken pieces with potato wedges and baked beans. Simple but were getting lots of take away and cooking easy whilst in the chaos having builders fitting a new bathroom.
The slow cooker is having a night off tonight lol (only because i'm not getting on very well with it, although it does have turkey, leek & potato soup cooking away in there at the moment for lunches next week)
Anyway, I digress. Tonight we are having - pizza & chips. I'm having a night off. *Him* has turned the oven on and cooked them

as it should be, its the weekend xx
Pizza, red wine and female company
The trouble with slow cookers, is the instructions always say something stupid about pre-frying the ingredients. I always ignored that bit, dumped everything in in the morning and ate it in the evening. It was always fine. We're having Thai red curry tonight, but we're both pissed so f**k knows what it'll taste like, but it will all be fine I'm sure.
Hmmm... another one to add to the list of swinging identifiers:
- Pampas grass
- Cream leather sofa
- Tiger bread
- Slow cooker
:notes:
oh my goodness me.... worlass and I aren't swingers.

Roast beef (rare - yum!) yorkshire pudding, roasties and some veg (not sure what yet!)
All leftover and frozen from last weekend when I cooked double so no real cooking for me again tonight biggrin

I'm sick of having the same things for dinner week in, week out. If I see another plate of spag bol in the near future I'm gonna scream! We go shopping and put the same things in the trolley every time, it's doing my head in.
And no Mr Secksy I don't want southern fried chicken, caesar salad and a nice breeeeaaaaaddd!!!
