whats happened to chat?

I've got to say it looks like chat (which used to be excellant!) seems to have gone to the dogs. Everytime I log into chat I get kicked off the server numerous times within 5 minutes so I give up in the end. Chatting to others it seems that we're not the only ones who are having problems so I was wondering if the techy people at SH could please sort it out?

It is much easier for Admin to establish all the problems if all the posts are in one place (rather than having to keep running all round the forums to find them)
