Whats Spyware???

Greetings all!
I have had some thing on me pc called spyware and sign up for it this an anti-virius protection or is it spoof/virus??
confused

I would be g8full if any advice on this not a pc wizzard.

Best thing to do is download yourself a copy of Spybot Search & Destroy and a copy of Ad-adware SE ..... run them both and see what if finds etc. Many virus checkers don't search for spy/adware.

Click on the advice link on the menu to the left of the screen, then look for the section on basic internet security advice, click on the link there and there for an explanation of the various terms, and links to free software that can help you avoid the pitfalls, if I just keep typing this sentence for a few more words then all you who hold your breath while you read should be passing out just about ...... now! :twisted:
