Earlier this week Sappho accused me of having a 'senior moment' evil
What had happened was that I had taken a package down to the Post Office to be posted Special Dalivery and, having taken my keys out of my pocket to find the necessary change, I had wandered off and left them on the counter. I realised as soon as I got back to the office and returned to the PO to collect them.
Sooo, the question is: Is this just simple absent mindedness or something more serious? I have been known to do this before at moments of high stress. Have I been under stress lately? dunno
The very next day I couldnt't find my mobile 'phone. Having searched the house unsuccessfully I decided to ring the number. I heard the 'phone ring in the laundry basket and realised that I had left the 'phone in the pocket of my jeans that i had just put to the wash.
Two in two days. Is this cause for concern?

It happens to me all the time!...............the trouble is couldent tell you as i have forgotten
Cars are always good for senior moments. I recently went shopping, parked in the multi storey car park, went and did my bits.
Came back - and I couldn't find the car! looked everywhere - nothing. Perhaps I had parked in the other car park? Nope.
Just as I was on the verge of reporting the theft of my beloved chariot - the penny dropped. My car was poorly in the garage - I had driven Kit's car!
Then there was the time when a bunch of us decided to leave the sleepy hollow of Harrogate to have a lads night out at the Hofbrauhaus in Leeds (is it still there?) We had a cunning plan that one of us would drive, a plan which survived about 30 minutes.
The bleary eyed conversation started the next day with: "Does anyone remember where we parked the car? confused :?

I have a number of Senior Moments every day redface
In my defence, I'll say that I'm usually thinking about programming (I'll get a life tomorrow...), and totally forget what it was I was supposed to do, pick up etc.
