When will membership info be forthcoming??

O.K, so im not exactly a newbie, but i do feel that some of the newcomers have been fobbed off when asking the thorny question on when we will find out if the pre-changeover peeps will have to stump up for membership.
I know the decision hasnt been taken yet, and I dont want to rock the boat but surely we should by now have some idea as to when we'll find out?
This does seem to be worrying a lot of members, so I wanted to "stick my head above the parapet" in the nicest way I know.
Heres hoping!

i had a locked thread once :cry:
but sarge had just got his mod buttons and deleted it so now i cant join the club git he is mad
