The interesting thing is they're similar types of words: tragedy, strategy etc. So there must be some physiological condition or something. Please say it's not just me.

Whenever Alex says "Can I have......" my head says no but when I speak it comes out as "Yes".
I don't think this has anything to do with word slips.......it has more to do with, my life would be made a misery if I used the "N" word lol

yes all the time things end up as phaphaphapha or paapapapapa because I have got all tongue tied. I put it down to the fact that my brain is racing all the time ahead of what I am actually saying or typing for that matter.
The reason I spell words incorrectly amazes me as I know the difference between where and wear, yet often I will write the wrong one without noticing. I always have to read back. Same happens with my speech only it's words tripping up because I'm thinking of a word where I know the meaning but not sure how it is said or something like that.
