Where do you most like to meet other swingers?

Right then peeps we know we arent all the same lol so just wondering where do you lot prefer to meet other swingers for the first time?
We know most arrange meets off here to meet other swingers, so where do you meet?
We have attended many a Munch & Social and find this a good way to meet people, suss 'em out wink

We also like to go to clubs where theres a different type of atmosphere where people are more relaxed and laid back smile

It seems we prefer to meet other swingers at a Social or Munch cool

Would be interesting to see results lol

for the purposes of the question so i know which box to tick.... can you explain what you perceive to be the difference between a social and a munch?.....i don't think there is really a difference between them anymore except for the actual scale of the event

Munch = big, party atmosphere where people travel from all over the country to be there, often includes a theme or getting dressed up more so than you would get away with in pub where vanillas are present....closed off and private for us lot only with private toilet facilities/ bar, for site-members only.
Social = smaller event by scale , often attended by more localised people, more a social get together & chat over drinkies than a party with disco etc type atmosphere, where vanillas may be present and we are not seperate from joe public, sometimes organised in private and have non site-members present.

in edit : for the purpose of this thread though I dont think the difference really matters, apart from the level of alcohol consumption that might occur between the two which may affect how folk interact with each other lol

We have been to "socials" where they are held with people there from Not just this site and are run more of a local theme.
The Munch has its own rules etc and can also be as per these socials. Thats why we put the two options lol
There seems to be more socials arranged through invite only in the Chatrooms.

I ticked 'at a Munch' , bcause its primarily those I attend, and usually there that I can meet loads of people I havent met before in a play-free environment, see who I click with on a social basis and then usually follow it up at a later date/ later that night :twisted:

At the moment there is a lead in the pole for meeting at Clubs.
In our experiance not all Clubs are the same, weve even been to a club with a Camper Van in one room laid out (with gravel if memory serves me right) just for the Dogging enfusiasts lol
On the other hand we like to go to a Club where its just like a night Club with a DJ, Music, Dancefloor Licenced Bar etc as well as rooms and other areas to have fun in including a "wet area" lol

This Club can be enjoyed by all people to all levels, biggrin

we know some couples who just go there and dont play with others just watch whats going off and there are other couples who have a great time infront of all, where without an audiance they seem to not perform as well lol
We are not all the same and we all like a wide range of activaties and persuits lol

theres no harm in that we just hope everyone has as much enjoyment as us lol

and a good time is had by all
So when people say a Club theres a lot of choice to what kind of Club.

I put munches, although Im not in the scene... smile

I did get an offer in a pub last night at the pre munch drinks from three guys confused

An they werent even with the munch party lol

Prefer swinging clubs. I stopped going to munches after I realised I was spending more and more time attempting to say hi to people while they were dashing past me on their way to chat with someone more interesting. dunno

Seeing as we have met with people from the SH ads, we tend to meet first for a drink then have played mainly at private meets and once in a club. We've attended one social but have yet to attend a munch (not easy for us to get to being quite a distance away). We plan to try all avenues and see which suits us best!

I've only done one munch so can't use that as an example but I always meet for a social coffee/drinks at a public place first if it's someone I don't already know. As for arranging dates with people I have already met, my pm box is below wink
