Under my bed is safe... send it all to me :rascal:
My bank account has a monthly heartbeat. It looks like this.
_________/\___________/\___________/\_______ etc
I get to see it for about 3 days. Sometimes I go to the autobank for a balance just to see the money.
So, no I don't worry about what will happen to my money in the bank. I can't see anything happening that would result in me seeing LESS of it.

Lively Lady - Marks Tey at 14/1 it is what is know as a racing certainty.
I would trust Santander as it owns Abbey National and also just bought out the latest British Bank failure so they must be pretty sound.
Lets assume u have less than £50,000 and u just want to put it in a bank account. As long as its a UK bank it doesn't really matter which one or ones u choose. Spread it around a bit if u r ultra cautious stick it in one if u want the highest possible interest.
If u are prepared to take a risk for a high return over a year or two bang it in bank shares.
Oh how this will come back to haunt me one day.

Buy Government Bonds, safe as houses.....
put your money with fat tony.
safe and secure
here is a tip I heard from one of my "friends"
if anyone is unsure....... at the moment it might be a wise idea to open a post office bank account....
they are underwrited by Allied Irish Bank (AIB)
the Irish Government are insuring all amounts regardless of how much (much to the annoyance of gordon brown)
hope that helps........
