Not going anywhere this summer, alas. Well, nowhere abroad anyway.
I was in Yorkshire at the weekend. Great time, great company... :rascal:
My last trip abroad was a weekend in Granada. Well worth a trip just to see the Alhambra Palace, spectacular!
I may make it down to London in August for a couple of days.
No plans to go far for me, had a few long trips over the last two years. Just had a long weekend in Kent and more in the planning stage :bounce:
I'm off to my fifth festival of the summer! If I go abroad it tends to be in the winter when it's really shitty here.

should have been The Maldives & France lol
Went to Weymouthfor a week a few weeks ago seems like ages ago now. Hubby is off with lads to Magaluf for a long weekend next week 10 drunken idiots on the loose lol. I am then off to Magaluf with the girls in Sept for 5 days was going to be a good drunken few days but because of having baby on board i am now teetotal for a least the next 6 months so looks like it will have to be just a relaxing break away not having to look after our daughter and the other 2 children in the house(hubby & dog)lol

i went to thailand for 2 weeks in june. that was awesome, lads holiday. 3 of us, just bought our plane tickets and booked hotels day by day depending on where we went. it is so damn cheap over there its unbelievable.
we flew into bangkok, few days there. then onto koh samui, a little island off the south coast, then onto phuket, then back to bangkok and home. bangkok is absolutely mental, like london on speed! definitely worth a couple of days just to check it out. koh samui is a gorgeous little island, would recommend it to anyone. hotels and restaurants are all fantastic and the food is too. all so cheap.
then i went to hawaii for the first 2 weeks in july. not what i expected to be honest. it was half over commercialised and half gorgeous island. the main touristy bit was like america on an island, starbucks and macdonalds everywhere! but if you travelled into the island where the tourists dont stay, you can find the real untouched hawaii and the beaches are the best ive ever been on. so if you like a bit of both, hawaii is a good place to go...if you can stand the 20 hours plane time!
We were going to Scotland for a week at the end of August but as a poor impoverished student with a broken car, that's had to be cancelled.
We're off to Wassenar in Holland in October though(staying on a theme park called Duinrell) and of course will be paying Amsterdam a visit ... well, it'd be rude not to!!
Went to Goa on my own for the 1st time in March - wonderful place and experienced so much more travelling on my own.
London for a few theatre / music weekends over the year.
Ireland for a 21st party 2 weeks ago and back off for my annual Ireland trip on Friday ... no matter what happens in the world, summer isnt summer without at least a week at the cottage by my nan, all of us cousins pitch up at some point, so your never short or a drinking partner and though the weather isnt a cert the craic is and at 87, nan wont be around us forever so have to see her while we can
