If the Cafe was a physical place in existence, where you could walk in and actually grab a coffee - then...
Where would it be and what would it look like???
biggrin
T & L xxx
Well would definately want it within walking distance of my house....
As for what it should look like - I would go with a french style cafe/bar as people invariably need a drink when meeting for the first time - maybe have lots of secluded tables and maybe have someone on the door to announce your forum nickname as you arrive!
physically, it couldn't be anywhere in Britain cuz it would always be too far for some to travel to. On a fantasy basis though, it would be centrally located on a sun drenched island, a place for members to holiday when the mood takes them. Everyone would know each other, the best facilities of our favourite clubs all available, no press, media, time-share salesmen, idiots allowed. Only a fantasy..... biggrin :D :D
I can remember a previous discussion when Debbiewebs' idea was that the cafe should look something like this:
So, isn't our cafe a real place then
Well, first priority should be that you can get a coffee without having to do all that ridiculous 'tall, frothy, skinny, double shot, free-range, mocha-frappa-lattessocino' gobbledegook. Can we do the ordering in English please? And can we have cakes like at Betty's in Harrogate?
I was searching for something amusing in the way of "mobile cafe" pictures when I found . Someone wake up Eagerslut wink
Mine would be in my wardrobe. It would look like starbucks, only crowded with naked people. Might cheer up the poor souls already trapped in there
