Who can manage 5&quot; heels?

Help me ladies, please............ :upset:

OK OK OK I admit defeat, I simply cannot manage 5" heels however much I try, redface

I look like a demented constipated chicken when I try to walk in them. So what is a girl to do? Is it like anal sex, do I have to get in training? dunno

HLB does it masterfully in her amazing shoes, do you do lessons HLB?? Also anyone know about these inserts you put in for super high heels, do they work?
I NEED some new FMB's (very soon)for a very secial outfit, and have searching eBay and online shoe shops mainly find 5" heels in the style I am looking for (black knee length, lace up, steel heel).
So
1. HTF do you learn to master such heels?
2. Anyone know if such FMB's come in lower heels?
3. Anyone recommend a good online supplier that doesn't show in the obvious google searches?

As someone who spends her working day in flat shoes, I find it very difficult to walk in heels over 4" anyway rolleyes

I do have a pair of 7" heels, but if anyone remembers the old Dick Emery character *Mandy* - that's me in my 7" heels - and not a lot better in the 4" ones :undecided: :grin:

Same here, thats if I didn't have cramp or have pulled them so hard that my holdups would be cramming my toes to the back of my feet rolleyes

I ve given up wearing them.....far too difficult :shock:
In truth ive always been amazed anyone can walk in heels , most of the time I have difficulty in walking rolleyes

Where they tell you to go one size bigger - I find with theirs you need to go two sizes bigger.
If you are in the right part of the country drop by their showroom - though they only have a selection on display, it is good for getting the sizing right ... but you can ring a few days before going and they will have the ones you want to try waiting for you.

I'm hopeless in heels confused

I wear flat mules for work and around the house so not used to them at all. I do have a couple of pairs I can cope with ok but my FMBs are for decorative purposes only mores the pity rolleyes

As a man I have limited experience of wearing high heels. As I type this I have a strange sinking feeling. Hey ho I've come this far.
Does the size of your feet effect the height of the heels you can wear? Do woman with smaller feet struggle more in higher heels?

I HATE heels! I absolutely cannot walk in them no way JOSE!!!!
I always thought that all the years of ballet gymnastics etc, I would have good balance and strong ankles, but no- absolutely impossible which is a bugger-I'm only a small fry with stumpy legs as it is, so I really need the boost of heels! lol

I'm always the one that prefers to walk home bare foot, prefering glass, stones, etc etc in my feet rather than the pain of the heels. :shock:
The problem is now I've branched out to burlesque, I HAVE to wear heels and I'm hopeless- too busy concentrating on not falling over rather than the peeling and posing!
Dita Von Teese the burlesque star said the thing about ridiculously high heels was kind of similar to the binding of chinese feet, and the kind of suffering you have to go through to look sexy makes it even kinkier the higher the heels and the more fragile you may look teetering around (or words to that effect!)
I can tell you I definately don't look fragile and sexy wobbling around and going over my ankle, and I'm always trying to persuade the girls in my burlesque group not to wear heels- they always say no!
If anyone does have tips i'd be very greatfull, but I think there is no hope, I do plenty of leg exercise and get plenty practice in heels- I just can't do them!

That's wierd as I'm actually more comfortable in high heels that flatties and alway put it down to ballet causing me to have a high arch in my foot. It's actaully quite painful if I wear flatties for any period of time.
I'm most comfortable in 3.5 inch heels but can wear slightly higher than that but I have a pair of shoes that an ex bought me with 5.5 inch heels and I can barely stand up in them let alone walk in them so sorry but can be of much help Pink.

I have teeny feet!
I have to get kids shoes- saves me a fortune on trainers etc!
Maybe I'm destined for clarks flat burgundy buckle numbers for the rest of my days! :giggle:
