Still got all my old records. Daughter's friends found them one day and now think I'm quite cool (much to her disgust).
We have Mr W's Nan's old stereo- with deck- in the workshop. It gets put on if we're in the garden round 't firepit, or have people round. The only remaining records we have, however are- The Chicken Song: Spitting Image, bought as a novelty for one of the kids when they were little...and two from my childhood...The Muppets! :bounce:
The kids- even given their teenageryness- all beg to have the Muppet one on, and there's a chorus of "mahna mahna" "do do do do do" whenever it's played.
I've still got all my vinyl but most of it I've transferred onto my i-pod now as it does tend to get annoying keep changing singles over all the time.
We still have ours and got a new deck a few years back. Mr NWC has loads of stuff on vinyl.
We have now put a lot of them onto CD and tend to play those more than the records mainly because I cant be bothered to get up and turn the record over (dont get a remote control for that) lol
still got my vinyl but no turntable any more :-(
May invest in a usb turntable and record it all to cd (crackles and all)...
i still have all mine and my mam and dads, turntable has packed in though need it repairing
My ex turned all my vinyl into ash trays when we split up! mad
I still have vinyl - some quite rare stuff - but nothing to play it on. sad

I have very little 60s / 70s / 80s vinyl left. I dread to think what the vinyl I inherited would be worth now. Things like original Captain Beefheart, original Specials, collectable Sisters of Mercy on 7". I had cases full, and sold it all to pay a gas bill. I deliberately stay away from eBay and what have you. sad

well, to be fair i have most of the tracks on cd, about 1500 of em.....quite a lot in the attic surprisedops:
the vynal stuff is mainly unusal stuff, a bit of sister of mercy (like neil in thigh high boots and stockings has biggrin )
lots of picture discs, rare editions, bootlegs, gate folds, signed stuff etc. probably won't play it again but i just like to have it
I've got over 500 vinyl albums and 12" singles and about 400 7" singles. Some of them, quite rare. Limited editions etc.
I still buy vinyl from charity shops and suchlike. I've always had a turntable. I couldn't live without my old vinyl stuff. Got so many memories attached to it all.
i have lino in my kitchen if thats what we going on about lol bolt
me wave got around 250 singles from the 80's and a whole bunch of albums...tho nothing rare or famous. love giving them an airing every now and again!
I got every 7" single that Kylie did in the late 80's and very early 90's redface
and i still collect all the 12" picture discs when she releases one!
i still have vinyl and have transfered most of my collection over to digital format even thoe ive never bought a usb record deck
i still get people wanting there records transfered over to the digital format as they have wanted to play there old records on the new stuff that we have nowadays
I have a few albums around, I have ones called Cherish, Rock me baby. Ok I even have his 2009 calendar above my pc on the wall.
Nobody can say I am not loyal. redface
