I have just won a prize on our local radio station.
They played Beatles tracks and you had to say the titles. I called as I was right by the phone (have never called a radio station before), and I got straight through and won. Yippeeee wooohoooo am a happy bunny.
There is only one issue. I have absolutely no idea what I won. I'd only just turned the radio on and impulsively called. I didn't hear what the prize was as it had been mentioned before I called. I've given them my address and will get a surprise at some point!

A few christmasses ago, on christmas day we won family tickets to legoland. (local radio)
Not sure if it was the fact that we were the only people who rang in on a xmas day lunchtime, the fact that I got my sweet sounding daughter to ring, or the fact I said "make sure you tell him the oven broke down last night & we're having a microwaved xmas dinner!"
I also won (local radio again) a couple of c.d's for taking up the challenge of singing live on air. Poor DJ couldn't get anyone to do it- so I impulsively stopped at the side of the road & got on with it.
Only problem is- it was the "shake n vac" song!
Oh yeah, I won silver in the London open Taekwondo Tournament this year

Many moons ago I did win the princly sum of £1444.4...something pence on the National Lotterry!
& this was after my third stab at the fookin thing!!!
Never done the thing since but I do remember I had so many numbers plus a bonus ball & when I went to collect my winnings the bastids told me that coz every one & the their dog had the same numbers that was the reason why the payout was so low
All I know it was a feckin damn good return for just a quid!
