You know when you have had one of those nights……… at the happy stage…….. before you fall over / pass out…….. your standing there, minding your own business………. And all of a sudden……… A totally way out thought pops in to your head……. It overpowers all other thoughts and becomes paramount………. You are suddenly launched on a quest…….. to find the truth………
Well it happened to me last night……..
If you get salmonella poisoning from eating raw chicken…. Why are there so many foxes about?
It’s now the next morning…. Cant remember a lot about last night…… but the question keeps bubbling to the top of my mind……….
HELP!!!!!

Well, all wild animals eat raw food, and most die from being killed by predators, man, or by not being able to scavenge enough food, not from any sort of poisoning. They can tolerate raw food - they have to. Apparently they would be in more danger if they ate cooked food.
See:

Mike.
Foxes don't cook the chicken because they don't have pockets to carry their lighters........... obvious really................. blink
