I have had threads locked before, might just be the untones within the thread itself, the best way to find out is pm the person that locked it, and see why they took the decision to.
Don't take it personally it can happen to us all at some stage.
I am off to find Sarges lock thread club, thread, if I can find it in the dark corridors of sh towers then you can join the rest of us that have had threads locked in the past.

It was probably felt that the thread was descending into a tit-for-tat argument rather than a constructive discussion, so may have been locked for a short while to allow people to cool off and compose themselves (usually before round 2 starts and it's permanently locked. :lol2: )
It's also thought of as 'bad form' to post a 'Why was my thread locked?' post round here. The only person that truly knows why it was locked will be the mod that locked it. If there's a final comment from a mod then PM them and ask. If there isn't, have a look for a user called 'admin' and ask them. You may not get an answer for a couple of days depending on work load/day of the week etc. Please be patient, it will be answered.
Secondly the 'tear-drop' is in fact supposed to be a flame. This indicates a 'hot topic' that has more than a certain number of replies within a defined time period.
