Although one would expect this to be the case, I have done extensive research on this subject and have found that the opposite usually applies.
Most people are right handed. Most men 'dress' to the left.
I think the natural tug, applied over the years, forces a strengthening of the muscles that cause resistance to the left whilst having one off the wrist, therefore causing the left 'dangle-factor' whilst flaccid.
Of course, there will always be exceptions to the rule.

brilliant!.... Vix , that sounds like an expert opinion to me. I have a slight swing to the right.. and yes i am right handed. hmm...
