As a newbie(ish) couple we decided that we wanted to explore & see where it took us.
We are looking for secure couples to make friends with.
We are not after a "shag" or one off .It's not because we feel horny & need something we can't get at home.

You're right this has been asked before, but I think it's good to ask the same questions every so often as it gives a chance for people to give new answers and for others that are new to the site to express their opinion. :thumbup:
OK, so why are we here? I fell across this site from another website, had a look round, like the people here and became hooked (god I remember first telling Countess about this place and about attending an upcoming Munch :eeek:

I can here years ago via the photos ads, because then the site was split into different sections, and you had to join all the bits, not like now where once you have logged in that is it, I always thought the forum as a big scarey place.

We are brand newbies on the site and I am glad you are asking questions that have obviously been asked before because it is easy( and this is no disrespect to anyone involved) to join and then feel like the new kids at school- excluded from the in-jokes and not a part of the is also hard to make the first move or effort and join in. You obviously don't expect to be eveyones new best friend when you first join but it is nice to have questions answered that more regular users must have heard a hundred times before!
we are here because we have been married a long time-we love our marriage and our life but now have more time for us and intend to enjoy doing something I wish I had done years ago. Not got there yet though!!

Im here to enjoy the banter on the site and once people get to know me i would like to meet up with some of the lovely ladies that are here. Obviously im not expecting the world but maybe just go out for a few drinks and if things click then who knows.

So, what's that? I'm sure we're all doing the same thing, aren't we - looking for a bit of fun, isn't that it? It's just that some of us find it in one way, and some in another.
But there's fun in the looking too - and there's the unexpected - which is surprising and exhilarating and exciting - and worth being here for.
I have no idea how you cope as a couple - but dozens here will know - just make sure you both enjoy yourselves - and go on doing so!

As for the reason we are here, well we found the site after a neighbour mentioned he had been looking round it, :shock: so we did a search on google and up popped SH.
As for the reasons we are still here, we are addicted to the place, to the people and to the social side of swinging. The sexual side of swinging is probably a very small part of the reasons we are here, its more the interaction (on line, or at socials/munches) with like minded people, who enjoy a laugh, can be very honest when you need it and are always there to help :lol: Oh, and possibly because Im still trying to find the logout button

We got talking about swinging on another forum (a parenting one :shock: ) and a group of us went off to discover the "real" swinging sites. I found this one and have never really moved on lol.
Morbius and I had discussed swinging a far few times and through SH, have had chance to actually do something and not just talk about it, make some fantastic friends, get a bit of education in terms of tolerance, understanding, and learn more about other communities (ie LGBT).
We've pushed our own limits
Been supported through one of the toughest times in our lives (daughter's cancer) :D We've laughed, we've cried, we've sighed and we've got angry.
We've had intimate moments, social moments, witnessed highs, witnessed lows, had our hands held and held others hands.
Where else would you get all that???????

Originally we were here to get some shags, not just one but quite a few 
and even though we have tested the waters in that department, my reason for still being here changes from week to week. Sometimes im here to find a shag(in all honesty), but mostly im here to to have a chat, read and join in with the forums and to catch up with old and new friends. Well ...we are here for the same reasons as Calm.
Love chatting to all the regs in the chatrooms, attemding socials, but most of all, would love to meet a couple we could socialise with from time to time and see as friends, without it always ending in a shag!!
