For years I've been trying to train her indoors to cut bread straight. Never going to happen. Every time i go to cut a slice I end up chucking half the loaf away to bring it straight again.
I've given up!
Are there any other little nuance's that drive you crazy about your other half?
I feel like Noah now....waiting for the flood

But sliced just not the same...sorry ..no excuses..it taste better when you cut it yourself. And you get proper toast from cutting your own.

Now, why do they do that? Forget stockings and suspenders, or dirty videos....just siddle up to the sink and start washing the dishes...
I had mine neutered  . He's much better now.
For bread cutting, buy a knife with a guide piece on it. Perfect slice everytime.

Well, I'll stick to my ready sliced cos I think it tastes just as nice... but to answer your question, I'm sure lots of women can slice bread very well, but there isn't much point when all they are going to do is throw it on the water---- might as well just chuck lumps in cos fish don't mind about presentation :giggle:
well i hate bread but like toast am i the only wiered one

In here? ROFL are you kidding...look around and witness the asylum in action..
Well when I was 9 I had learnt to slice bread straight. We went on a self catering holiday to Wales (- it was the summer Elvis died - i can still remember it now!! ) My mum took the bread knife with us (we always went on holiday with the kitchen sink in tow - sound familiar!?) Unfortunately we left said bread knifr behind and since then I have never been able to cut bread straight again!! sad
Sliced bread is therefore the easiest option but when i have time i enjoy freshly made bread from my bread maker so we have kinky bread but it tastes delicious!!
Amazing what snippets stay in ones mind!!!
Can't really say much cos I hardly ever cut bread (or cheese) straight, but H can get it right every time dunno
I never could until I got this marvellous thing from that famous place with several shops in the land with clever kitchen items and other wonderful houseware items. I'm not posting its name but you know the one.
Its a plastic cutting guided with a design to allow you to cut about 4 different thicknesses of bread. Brilliant!

Maybe you should show her how to cut the bread acroos the loaf and not down the middle!
