Why is the chat room not loading?

I have tried to connect to the chatroom, the outline of all the boxes come on the screen but it will not go any further. I have tried loading the Latest Java script, and the latest Mirc programs but still no luck!!
Has anyone got any ideas what might be wrong?
I'd love to be able to drop in and chat. :cry:

What's a flash player? if you are talking about Java, then yes I have. I have just downloaded the latest one and tested it. It all seems to be OK acording to the java test program.

The chatroom is Flash based not Java or mIRC so updating those problems will not help.
I occasionally get the same problem as you do and I think it's due to the volume of chatters who are online at the time.... It is fustrating I agree especially when you are a chatroom OP lol

Just kep trying and eventually you will connect biggrin

I have now got rid of Java and installed macromedia flash player, but still all I get is the boxes with the headings written in them but nothing else.
do I have to enable macromedia somehow? according to the site testing procedure it is working fine??

I have found that if this happens, either if your just going from one room to another or even if you just can't get in chat, just leave it as it is for a short time and it will eventually connect, i think about 3 mins was about the longest i had to leave it for, try and see

The new site can be a pain.
I found it depends which room it is trying to connect to.
It appears that the maximum in one room allowed is 70 and if you select that room it waits until some one leaves so if your unlucky you may be trying to get into a full room on first login.
Once your in you can swap rooms.
It is ok when in though I am sending lots of "whispers" by mistake :-) do other also do this or am I a dork?
I cannot figure out how to attach a pic in ad replies either :-)

Well I'm stuck!! I have tried everything. I have waited, I have blocked firewalls, Loaded the latest flash players. But still cannot connect.
Not sure what to do now? Have pm'd admin to see if they can help? banghead

If anyone can suggest something that i havn't tried. i'd be glad to give it a go (keep it clean now folks) wink
