Could someone please tell us how to view who has winked us? A friend said that they had sent us a wink, but we cannot see it.

On the subject of winks. I do find a lot of people see them as a waste of time and rarely respond to them anyways..

Maybe because we had the 'free Extras' package for a few weeks when we joined, sort of ended up disabling them within a couple of weeks and never used since.
I quite like them as a way of breaking the ice. If you want someone to flesh out their 'wink', is it too much trouble to ask them. You expect them to send you more than a one-liner, but maybe you should remember back to when you were a newbie and perhaps were a bit nervous about how your initial approach might be received. Someone would be much more grateful for a quick personal reply asking for further information, and it sets a better example, than a lazy auto-responder. Personally, I'm not flooded with winks so it could be that I have not become jaded towards the concept yet.

I particularly like the ones that say "I liked your profile, please check out my profile and let me know what you think" - my profile is blank and often when I check theirs, it's also blank.

Depends if they are new. I know when I was, I didn't know what a wink was or that it was a worded message. I just sent them out and waited to see if anything happened as a result :giggle:

I hate winks!! Especially the 'Id like to know more' ones.
My profile is so full that there aint much more to know ... unless of course they want to know how often I cut my toe nails or something??
