sorry hunni, you're the wrong sex for me, your bumps are all in the wrong places :giggle: as for the questions, first of all for editing them in after I posted I only think winter's on it's way when muppets like you remind us ! :giggle: I'm still waiting for the indian summer to arrive and refuse to get the wooly pullies out just yet  Worst winter I remember was about '81 and we were snowed in to our house, you couldn't even SEE the car let alone use it and we had to walk to the nearby farm for milk as none of the shops had any deliveries for days ( long before the days of 24 hour Tesco and Asda ) I remember taking my son, who was about 3 at the time, out to play in the snow and it was so deep it was higher than him!
:rotflmao: :color: your all in bloody denial its comin  an as i live in a town with one of the biggest salt mine's if you need more confomation " there stockpiling salt "
i really like this time of year give it a couple of weeks and it'll be lamps and fires on at 4pm, proper food like stews and homemade bread, soft jumpers and knee boots become normal attire and i get to walk the dog and crunch leaves underfoot :bounce: things get 'cosy' instead of 'jeez i'm too hot to do owt today' and those with the few remaining coal fires around here fill the air with that lovely sooty fire smell :inlove: can you tell i'm not a summer person  in edit: I remember : 1993, in Buxton, and got snowed in for 3 days - no electricity, no open roads, no where open cos workers couldnt get to or from work, absolutely freezing and practically cut off from anywhere else being right up there in the Derbyshire Peaks - and for the first time in my life experienced realcommunitarianism.

Yes winter is comming - but so is summer! (You just have to wait a little longer for the latter.) When walking to meet my gf after work yesterday I nearly ended up being launched into oncoming traffic by slipping on a concker! (sp?) Conckers are a sign of Aumtumn not winter. (That's my theory and I'm sticking to it!)
I don't know about winter coming but here on the Thames Rivieria its tropical!! It's raining and its still hot. Its like Thailand but with candy floss and donuts
