Personally I don't see why you can't do ANY job and still indulge in swinging if that's the lifestyle you prefer but this isn't an ideal world and too many people have too many opinions, notions and wrong impressions of swingers, which is a sad state of affairs.
All I'd suggest to you is use discretion biggrin
i agree with sassy, there are loads of professional people on this site and sites like it that enjoy a liberated sex life that doesnt conflict with their career.
good luck to you if you join the police force, but remember , no matter how friendly you get with your workmates, your swinging life is your private life!
how long does it take to be a copper then wink i do like em between the sheets lol yeah must look me up when ur one hehe biggrin xxx
I went out with a lovely policewoman who was rather like Miss Black 44 on this site, except that her boobs were rather larger at 48FF.
She was very proud of her appearance and loved the reaction it gave when she stepped through the door of a pub when they had been called to a disturbance!
The whole place went dead quiet at the sight of a 5' 9", size 20, black woman !

If your superiors find out, you will find that they are not liberated or modern.
Quite frankly, the modern police service would view you being gay as more acceptable than you being promiscuous (not my definition).
You'll need to be wary of "career blackmail".
Note that the major worry is about others using your preferences to obtain leverage over you as a police officer.
In fact, life carries-on with all the crap others dish out in normal life existing in the police service !
I too have a job of a sensitive nature which is why I have no face pics on my profile and never would show my face on cam. I never tell people I meet exactly what I do; I don't lie but just keep things simple.
My very close friends know that I'm on this site (so are some of them!)but I trust them, totally.
When you have a job that means dealing with the public or the media, you do have to be discrete and this is only a very small part of my busy life! You just know that The Sun would have a field day! (especially if caught dogging!!lol)
So it is possible to have the best of both worlds! I little forethought and planning means I dont compromise my work life and my fun!!
I agree with JTS. From my experience, coppers get up to all sorts of frolicks and fun. Nothing remains fully private though, people find out. I think that if a copper was to indulge in swinging, they would need to keep it close to themself for all the reasons JTS mentioned. From what I can gather, there are many proffessionals on this site, who all respect each other and the need for 'privacy'. People outside of the scene may well view it very differently.
I'm a cop and love to swing - but keep it very discrete
have fun
Off-duty conduct.
Police officers have some restrictions on their private life and this has to be balanced against the right to a private life. These restrictions are laid out in Police Regulations. Therefore, in considering whether a breach of this Code has occurred for off-duty conduct due regard should be given to that balance and any action should be proportionate taking into account all of the circumstances.
Even when off duty, police officers should never behave in a manner that brings or is likely to bring discredit upon the police service.
In determining whether an officer’s off-duty conduct brings or is likely to bring discredit to the police service, the test is not whether the officer brings or is likely to bring discredit on herself or himself but on the police service as a whole.
Police officers are particularly aware of the image that they portray when representing the police service in an official capacity even though they may be off-duty (e.g. at a conference).
When police officers produce their warrant card (other than for identification purposes only) or act in a way to suggest that they are a police officer (i.e. declaring that they are a police officer) they are demonstrating that they are exercising their authority and have therefore put themselves on duty for the purposes of this code. For example, during a dispute with a neighbour an officer who decides to produce a warrant card would be considered to be on duty.
An approved business interest should always be carried out in a way that does not give the impression of compromising the officer’s impartiality and in such a way as not to risk bringing discredit on the police service.
All managerial actions and disciplinary outcomes are available in response to off-duty conduct and in all cases, whether on or off-duty, it should be the actual conduct of the officer that is considered. It must also be clearly articulated how that conduct brings or is likely to bring discredit to the police service.

I think a well-publicised gang-bang over the bonnet would qualify as poor conduct. But that may only be my way of thinking !!
Just dont tell anyone you're a police officer - make a fantasy career up and stick with it - or use a prior one - just keep stum and you wont have any worries - im an international piano player biggrin :D
Cheers all for your info,
JTS were did you get that clip from ??
