tend to agree a little with you maria , but not completly, there are at times people who monopolies certain areas of the chat rooms and dare I say it even the forums.....but hey thats life ......if people don`t `respond with a hi or hello then that says more about the people inthe chatrooms etc , so basically move to another chat room

Marie, maybe you would have been better "venting your spleen" (as we call it in the Evening Chronicle!) in the Steam room or to the people who have annoyed you direct. We all have times when things on here nark us but to be honest sometimes you have to grin and bare it. As for rules, you will find there are rules everywhere you go so no getting away from that hun.
You have been a member since 2006 and you have very little about yourself on your profile and you say you say "hi" in the chat rooms to those who say "hi" to you.. maybe you are expecting too much from people and need to chill out a little? I'm sure if you do you'll probably relax and enjoy yourself.. I know I speak from experience wink

Maybe you would have thought differently if you had read the other thread Maria started that was pulled after about 10 seconds this morning.
And Maria to give you my answer I would have to say yes. Yes I do think it's worth paying to be a member, otherwise I wouldn't carry on subscribing.
Yes people will piss other people off and the website is run by humans - none of us is perfect. People have a choice whether to be a member or not.
Of course I've had my own gripes over the months but I soon learnt that nothing was achieved by simply moaning about it.

If you look at http://www.swingingheaven.co.uk/main/about-us.html
read the page and the links contain therin, it seems to me the owners of Swinging Heaven wish to comply with relevant UK laws and codes of conduct.
For example, the "no directing" rule in chatrooms that is so rigidly enforced is I suspect so Swinging Heaven can maintain their compliance with the above.

I'm thinking (reading between the lines) that Maria's main gripe is with admin, and the grumble about the chatroom is secondary;

........and this is a way of disguising a critisism that she feels is otherwise going to be locked.

Maria, I agree with the above from rob, of course there are occasions when the chatroom rules are applied a little inconsistently, but on the whole i think they are fair. Yes, there are a few occasions where people get a bit pompous about "their" room, but I move to another one. And we had a discussion recently on the topic of saying hallo - you just won't get all 70 people in a fast-moving chatroom to say hallo to you.
I hope things improve for you in there, keep going.

I've locked this thread because I'm not too sure where this is going confused

Maria moaned in an unpleasant manner this morning because her ads had been removed.
I believe admin explained the problem with the ads through the support system.
As maria is not going to post any longer, threads over, I think dunno
