I'm sure we've all experienced it, the situation where a last minute change of plan results in something unexpected happening.
In my case, a couple of days ago i two jobs to do. I had to collect a bike engine & spares, then go to a mates to fix some electrics on his bike. i duely picked up the engine & set off to his place. On route, i realised i'd left a hoover of his at home so i made a detour to collect it. Instead of removing the spares at this point, due to the weight i could not lift the engine alone, i set off again with it still in the car. As i was driving to his, a young lad pulled out of a side road as i was about ten feet from it. Having nowhere to go, i ploughed into him. Luckily i was alone in the car(a volvo estate) as the engine in the back moved forward & smashed into the dog guard which i'd left in position from the previous day. Even so, it bent the guard the proceeded to push the rear seat with my littluns child seat attached some 5" forward, good job he was'nt in it.
After the event, it got me wondering would this still have happened if i'd not made a last minute change of plans & been in that spot some 20 minutes later than i should have been?.
What similar experiences can other members recall. Is it just bad luck or destiny?
How was the young lad ..?
Things like that seem to follow me about if only ect i think things are pre destined if somethings going to happen it will

i used to live in Wigan with the now x hubby and used to go to manchester every saturday and sunday without fail, there was always some event on or shopping to do. I woke 1 sat morn n decided that we shouldnt go to that day , dont ask me why but just felt like we shouldnt, so off we went somewhere else, when we arrived home the answer phone was full of messages from family members and friends that knew where we went, asking where we were ,if we were ok n the more messages there were the more frantic the people seemed on the other end, only when we watched the news did we see that manchester had been bombed! totally freaks me out everytime i think about it, that without fail we were in manc every weekend, but i had a feeling that we shouldnt go! bit of the opposite of urs but on a similar feel i thought xxj
