I was just reading another thread when I read this "maybe if you showed some photos you might get a meet? why would anyone in their right mind send a email to a couple with no photos?" I don't know about others but I have never had photo's on profile but have never had a problem meeting from here and never suffered from no shows. I decided not to have photos on profile when we joined, hubby said put some up but I said I want men to get to know me to want to meet and not want to meet me because they thought the photos were sexy. Likewise I never met men based on having photo's on profile. I don't think photos can give you any idea about the people or person you intent meeting on the basis you found the photo's sexy. For me sexy is very much in the mind and you can't see that in pictures. I believe cam is a far better way to see a personality and sexiness within a person. I have always insisted on having chats on cam, but never on photos. I would not meet anyone that never had a cam but had pictures. I have believed if you don't want to cam you have a lot more to hide than not having photo's on profile. You can cam in a locked room here. I have spoken to very sexy people that have no pictures but have cam. I just wondered what other views are?
Wouldnt meet anyone unless we had seen them on cam 1st, at least that's an up-to-date look at them. Some people on here put pic's on that are 10years old :eeek:
To be honest if I put photos on my profile I'd be beating them off with a stick! :cool: ;-) In fairness, the last meeting we had from here was with someone who showed very little of themselves in their photos, but we were still intrigued enough by the written contact to find out more and move forward.
I have had one or two meets without seeing a face pic, most of the time its not an issue as people are happy to provide one once they know you are genuine. I always make it clear that both sides have the right to back out if we dont have any attraction to each other, I would not just go through the motions. If people choose not to provide a face pic, its inaccurate or out of date then I have no problem with saying: "Sorry you dont do it for me, best of luck in the future" If they are offended by that they should have given me the opportunity to decide before we arranged to meet, saying that its never happened yet - perhaps Im just lucky. Has anyone ever had to let someone down because of this??
No, never, not a chance of us meeting without seeing reasonable pictures of those that want to meet us. I agree 100% that it is personality that is going to be the biggest factor in wether people end up playing or not but for us personal physical attraction is an integral part of the playing, if we don't find people sexually attractive we won't play with them, that is the playing side, we have made great friends over the years with people we have met in clubs that we wouldn't play with because we don't find them sexually attractive or vice versa but for the meeting off the internet, nope got to see pictures first. We respect that others don't want to put pictures up, that is thier choice, nobody is forcing them to contact us and we won't contact them asking for pictures. We don't mind if people only have hidden pictures and send them with thier messages. We do not accept any excuse other than "don't want to put pictures up" as a reason for not having them, unless of course you work in a job where your work colleagues get to see you naked everyday and would therefore recognise you from pictures where faces and visible distinguishing marks have been removed. We prefer clothed pictures that show body shape, (we like to unwrap our presents on the day) Close up pics of body bits like cocks, boobs and pussies are not what we would consider acceptable pictures to tell us what you are like. Cock n boob pics on profiles are fine if you want them, but if that is all there is it's not for us, makes us kinda wonder if the guy chats up women in supermarkets and nightclubs by whipping out his cock and saying "hi babe want some of this tonight" we wonder why they should think this would have a better effect on swingers ?

We don't have a cam and I find them spooky (can't describe why) so don't look at them and can't show you what we look like on one. We have arranged to meet without seeing pics and then exchanged pics and gone to a social meet knowing it will never go any further. Have also met after seeing pics and feeling I was attracted to one half of a cpl but not the other. When we met we changed our minds to me fancying the non attractive one but not the one who looked good in the photos so you never can tell. Guess thats part of the fun x
As a single male (without a public photo on profile) I have found that there is a better chance of getting a meet with a couple or single woman who do not have a photo on profile. They must get less swamped by messages than those with sexy pics, so if you're not having much luck, concentrate on those without pics and you might get lucky!

In the days before the internet, when meets were arranged by classified ads and the phone, it was quite common to arrange to meet someone without seeing a pic. It made it slightly more exciting in a way, adding a certain mystique. But those days have gone now. Although I might still be prepared to meet someone without seeing a pic, I've always been asked for a pic myself.

:welcome: to the forum! If you are sending private messages on the site then, as far as I am aware, only pictures that are on your profile can be sent. You can upload pics and make them private and only invite those you wish to view them. The good thing about pics uploaded here is that they have your username watermarked on them so there's less of a chance they'll be passed off as someone else. But totally understand the need for privacy! Nola x

It was Goldstar Publications and such like? There were also Experience, Vibrations, Silk Swingers, and Exposure, all published by Kentfern. There were about 20 ads to a page, but only very few had a pic with the ad.
