If your significant other half Bought some clothes that they thought was the dogs boll*x but actually looked really bad would you tell them?

I remember Dai bought a top hat for the goth look and when he put it on, I told him he looked like the Child Catcher from Chitty Chitty Bang Bang rotflmao

my interpretation of the clothes being naff may not be everyone elses, other people may thing the person looks ace!

I realised years and years ago that I had absolutely no taste in clothes whatsoever, saying that, my ex never did either.
Now my Partner selects my clothes and it's something that I am very very comfortable with.
I remember a long time ago when I was a huge Lynyrd Skynyrd fan buying a top hat and dying it white, I thought I looked like the dogs bollocks when going out with my mates, that and my Wrangler Jacket with cut off sleeves - just that at that time everyone else thought I looked like a plank, but no one told me ............

Now, would I advise if I thought that the clothes my Partner bought looked bad. Well years ago, nope no way, but now, yes I would, just that that situation has yet to arose ...... yet ........

I would always say... tacfully and sensitively - but if they looked awful, then yes. If they were just wearing something I didn't like but looked ok, then no I would leave them to it.

Sappho has both taste and a sense of style. This means that a) she always looks fab and b) I prefer to consult her before I buy clothes - but wouldn't wear anything that I didn't feel comfortable in.
In short, we tend to work together and buy things that we both like.
