... and tomatoes taste like tomatoes ... mmmm, nice warm juicy tomatoes smelling of tomato and tomato plants ... and not those horrible cold wet bits of stuff that get put on your plate every time you eat out.
... actually, wouldn't it be GREAT if the first thing a chef had to do before preparing any dish was to have to eat it himself.

In theory it sounds great, but the psycological (sp?
) thing kicks in and just makes it all wrong, then you'll keep looking at it, then keep trying it, and it'll still be wrong, then you'll end up with a funny head and have to go to froid, flloyd, fried or whatever that councellor guy is that will tell you the celery is nothing but a phallic symbol in your eyes, and you will have to wear eye patches or something to make it better Then you'll finally end up always thinking celery was a willy when all you wanted it to do was have it taste like cake!! :undecided:
Let me explain - when my kids were younger, they refused to eat mash potato
So, to encourage them, I let them choose a colour of the mash they wanted, then put in the appropriate food colouring - bobs your uncle, clear plates from the kids :twisted:They were young and it looked ok to them - to me, once coloured it looked like a load of sticky sweet cake icing dolloped on their plate!!!
Luckily my sensible kicked in, and I didn't try it any more ....... or not so much as my sense kicking in as my mouth went on strike and wouldn't open to let more mash/icing in
and I didn't have to go to froid :DSo Lost, you stick to celery being celery ok
or you'll end up with eye patches and willy celery!!

as a kid i remember it was golden wonder who lead the crisp market, and i loved cheese and onion.... however they were in a green bag. then walkers appeared to take over with their fandangled stay fresh foil bags, and their cheese and onion were in blue bags, its was wrong.
i mean salt and viniger means blue NOT cheese and onion.
took me ages not to expect them to taste like salt and viniger or salt and viniger not to taste like cheese and onion.
and im making any sense at all?? and yes my weekness is crisps

same thing here!!!!!
funny thing is, tonguey only likes certain falvours of crisps, and only takes them in his lunch box.
if i buy a different brand of crisps, he does nto notice that early in the morning and just grabs his usual colour, bless him he comes home in a sulk like a baby cos he never got any crisps with his lunch.
