Hay I think you need to speak to him then. I thought it was the music channel he liked. Tell him I am very disappointed. I no longer fancy him. Or do you think he is asking for forgivness for his early sins? ha ha ha ha

SYLLABICATION: Phil·is·tine
PRONUNCIATION: fl-stn, f-lstn, -tn
NOUN: 1. A member of an Aegean people who settled ancient Philistia around the 12th century b.c. 2a. A smug, ignorant, especially middle-class person who is regarded as being indifferent or antagonistic to artistic and cultural values. b. One who lacks knowledge in a specific area.
Football is not an artistic or cultural value - it's a game! And you got pointed to the 'specific area' - keep the game within the boundaries OK. Just like football.
cool
n. one who has never gloried in Stevie Gerrard making a deft touch to circumvent the world renowned Milanese defence or witnessed the spectacle of the out of favour Jerzy Dudek's match winnning performance to win the best championship in the world for a side who will sell him in the summer
Art is many faceted and not restricted to the middle classes - live and let live my friend and celebrate with us scousers who've had 20 years of drought....
biggrin :D :D :D
The Football Poet feels
he or she offers some
artistic way away from
football's greedy coffers.
This is the case perhaps
if it is all sincere. But just
as fairweather fans jump on
a bandwaggon so do poets.
celebration
schevchenko's pace
fleet but fleeting
maldini's class
great but grating
gerrard's pass
champions making
we'll never walk alone
WHAT A NIGHT!
biggrin :D :D
I would be happy to die now,
Never again did I think I would see it in my lifetime

They own the cup!!!

They own a copy of a cup that is owned by AC Milan who have won it 6 times.
The AC goal offside? Bollox!
How smart were AC in the first half? Not one pass wasted.
At least the two Evertonians in the Liverpool side played well, ask Carragher why he always wears a long sleeve shirt.
Dudek: 6 yards off his line for two of the pens.
The"Liverpool"fans were a credit to Norway, Singapore and Brazil, at least 39 Italians didn't get murdered tonight and we're not all banned from Europe.
I take it you support Arsenal or Chelsea then lol

That’s really disappointing; I thought you were better than that.

Oh, and

Thanks for the Jags special!! lol
Whichever way you look at Rangers are still top of the SPL and won the title! Didn't the cup need to be helicoptered over from the Motherwell v Celtic game?? Anyway, it was just great to see a proper 'fight' to the top again, no walk-over from either side.
My heart is forever blue!

Just to provide a little support for the Man Utd fans that cant get through to the Samaritans, there is now a new help line -

Thanks for the correction rolleyes Did you see the picture of the pub in Liverpool. A sea of red and two Everton fans in AC Milan shirts. No and they didn't get murdered either. Seeing as Everton should've been relegated for about 5 out of the last 7 seasons this year's been a bit of a turn up for the books. Flash in the pan, I wonder? lol Keep smiling.

I don’t know a great deal about football but I liked that post 'cause it sums up for me the commercialisation of sport sad
I’ve been involved working with people in one of the most deprived areas of Europe, let alone Scotland, and yet marvel at the fact that families will scrape together every penny they can lay their hands on by fair means or foul, to follow their "hero’s" on the football stage. “Hero’s” getting paid ridiculous sums of money week in and week out to kick a f’ing ball about and who cant even stay upright when somebody bangs into them FFS.
The sensible supporters save their money for following the amateur leagues where the majority of people still play with a passion and a purpose.
And don’t get me started on the “passion” of the supporters………..ask some of the wives and children of Glasgow Celtic supporters how they dreaded their drunk husbands coming home after last weeks last minute league defeat and ask how relieved the same relatives of the Glasgow Rangers supporters where at the result.
Football???????……….I’d rather pull my own teeth with pliers!!
Sorry folks confused

Before anyone starts the predictable bitter blue shite, I don't have any problem with Kopites, some of my best friends etc etc - my gripe is with the money men & G14 (Read David Conn) who've stolen our culture and heritage and turned it into a sparklie media package for corporates and middle class kids everywhere. Genuine Man U fans, I feel really really sorry for you.

Different message from the bitter blue shite in the first message. 39 dead italians FFS - Kopites for friends - what sort of friends are they then!!!

whats wrong with kopites..........no one deserves to die over a game...........but you werent there you dont know what happened ...........
dont judge
My team won the champions league. I don’t need to justify why I support them. I don’t care whether there are more reds than blues in Liverpool, Lancashire, Yorkshire or fucking Oslo. My team won an historic game, if you don’t like it then tough shit, I really don’t care.
I’m a qualified coach, not a bad player, run an under 18 team and understand the game. I cried when we lifted the trophy, didn’t even consider beating anyone up at half time and managed to celebrate without upsetting anyone.
I know 39 fans died the last time we were in a European Cup Final, so what do I do? Stop supporting my team? My team has quite a lot of supporters, some loyal, some local, some fly by nights, so fucking what? What successful team hasn’t? T’was always so!
I know football is expensive, I know it is a rip off, go in any, and I mean any, Premier League club shop, and they are looking to mug you. What do I do? Stop supporting them?
I don’t expect everyone to feel joyous about my team has done, I don’t expect everyone to respect or even understand what my team has done, I just expect that adults will not act like fucking children over what my team has done.
