To the supporters of the losing team (who was playing again.....and why?) remember, things could be worse. Like they are fore me. Forget the cup...my son is watching the God channel
The Football Poet feels
he or she offers some
artistic way away from
football's greedy coffers.
This is the case perhaps
if it is all sincere. But just
as fairweather fans jump on
a bandwaggon so do poets.
I would be happy to die now,
Never again did I think I would see it in my lifetime
LIVERPOOL
Oh, and
Just to provide a little support for the Man Utd fans that cant get through to the Samaritans, there is now a new help line -

My team won the champions league. I don’t need to justify why I support them. I don’t care whether there are more reds than blues in Liverpool, Lancashire, Yorkshire or fucking Oslo. My team won an historic game, if you don’t like it then tough shit, I really don’t care.
I’m a qualified coach, not a bad player, run an under 18 team and understand the game. I cried when we lifted the trophy, didn’t even consider beating anyone up at half time and managed to celebrate without upsetting anyone.
I know 39 fans died the last time we were in a European Cup Final, so what do I do? Stop supporting my team? My team has quite a lot of supporters, some loyal, some local, some fly by nights, so fucking what? What successful team hasn’t? T’was always so!
I know football is expensive, I know it is a rip off, go in any, and I mean any, Premier League club shop, and they are looking to mug you. What do I do? Stop supporting them?
I don’t expect everyone to feel joyous about my team has done, I don’t expect everyone to respect or even understand what my team has done, I just expect that adults will not act like fucking children over what my team has done.
