On a couple of occasions when I've written to a couple and had no reply I have written again, had a reply and met with them. I'm a firm believer in "if you don't ask you don't get" and I also understand that we all change our minds from time to time.
If someone was to message you twice would you think that they were pestering you and blank them or would you look again?
it's easy to overlook one ad reply among many ((( hundreds even! ))) and forget to reply? a second respectful reply, a couple of weeks or so at least later, is probably o.k. i reckon? there's always a chance they'll be more receptive to a second PM, if it's done in the right way, and shows willing?
if you don't get a reply from the second, a third is probably a no-no, and pushing the boundaries of won't take no for an answer? ;)
all depends how it's done i reckon?
neil x x x ;)
Normally I would leave it after one message but last year I was in touch with a couple and correspondence stopped for no particular reason. I left it a few months and asked why when they put an add on the site again and I replied to it. We met, had a few drinks and from that time I was made aware that couples get tens and hundreds of replies, one or two genuine and one or two hundred that aren't. I totally understand that, from a couples point of view, when you get inundated with mail it must be a chore to read them all. So from this experience I think that it's worth trying again but would never send a third.
I met my current regular swinging partner by sending a second PM. She'd just been let down by her first choice pick, following her ad and my timing was just right to get a reply and then our first meet.
