I’ve been pondering this thread for a while now.
How do you feel about cross dressing? So that’s men dressing as women and women dressing as men. Do you do it? Do you find the blurring of the lines between the genders erotic or just a turn off?
I rather like to see a woman dressed as a man. I think ladies in a tailored trouser suits look great. If they then add a buttoned shirt and a tie I am then panting. I can’t really explain the attraction. Do you know what it is?
Ladies how do you feel about men in stockings and suspenders? Turn on or turn off? And why?
I love that too, and also vice versa, swapping roles etc etc can be great fun and a huge turn on.
Not so sure it would be so erotic if the guy was built like a brick shit house with a beard, but otherwise, it can be great from both a male & female perspective.

I love a woman in a suit, but I love the secretary/school mistress look.

That's funny that really, in a way.
What I mean is, a woman CAN go about her everyday life dressed as a man, no one (except Hibernian, lol, and probably quite a few others) would bat an eyelid, but if a man did the same all hell would break loose, lol.
I think the secretary look is superb, but is it the same as 'crossdressing'.
I would be interested to hear the thoughts of any women out there that dress in this way, in particular, do you 'feel' that you are crossdressing when dressed like this??
DP
I am sorry I couldn't take a man in stocking and suspender serious! :giggle: :giggle:
Hubby has done it for a laugh a couple of times but I couldn't find him sexy.
I hope nobody takes offence it wasent intended.
I might be clothesism! lol
Oh there are some pics some where of red boots, and long legs...............

You are spot on a woman in a suit is seen as normal but to see a man walking down the road with a mini skirt and suspenders well.... lol
As I said before no offence each to their own!
Well, I know what you mean, but you can get men's skirts, metrosexualism and all that, but then you would look like David Beckham???
DP
Put it this way- whenever I watch the Rocky Horror Picture Show my mind wanders to falling to my knees in front of Tim Curry- that guy had great legs for stockings....:rascal:
I'm a bearded bloke built like a brick sh*t house - no options for me  But am I sad? Nooooooo well not most of the time anyway
Women in suits oh yeahhhhhhh  Wonen in uniforms oh yeahhhhhhhhhh  (apart from nurses uniforms they are scary)
Men in womens kit? Hmmm thats cool if they look like women. Then i wouldn't notice either other than the :rascal: thought possibly.

My Mum used to work in an Hotel that had an anual CD weekend, they came from all over the country to it.
Some where convincing but somme looked ridiculous.
I remember two great big burly blokes dressed as women, outside the local nightclub and gettin pelters from a group of guys, the blokes in the womens clothes took the heels off and ran at the boys, the boys legged it. lol

Maybe they should of gone 'camping' instead biggrin
Only meant in jest guys or gals or ermmm people :D
There used to be a hotel / B&B on the sea front where I lived that did CD weekends and there was a sign in the front bay window that read "A TV in Every Room"!!!
Always made me chuckle that one, lol.

You just gotta laugh at that rotflmao
I appreciate anyone who puts effort into their dress, be it to conform to their gender or not. However, I am totally turned on by masculinity and do not find men dressed in ladies clothes at all erotic.
However, I do quite like men that wear a little make up and the new romantic look is very sexy. I would quite happily be bitten by a vampire if he were attired like (An Interview with a Vampire) type costume lol.
I'm afraid I don't like pink much on male or female.

Those sentiments could just of easily come straight from Mrs Lost venus. She would totally agree with you.

Keeno seems to have gone and hidden in the closet, or he simply can't decide what to wear, that's what happens when you get far too in touch with your feminine side hahahaha

Back again. Not hiding....working.
In the closet, out of the closet. I'm not sure.
I admit that I actually find I have a bit of a quiver and a tingle when I've seen the pics of certain TVs on here but don't find the pics of men do anything for me.
I certainly don't confuse the desire to wear femine clothes with being homosexual. I believe that you can get pleasure from dressing without desiring someone of the same sex.
It is interesting that the fems here don't find men x dressing terribly acttractive.
AHEM!
And, Nola's not here......

You sound terribly confused keeno.

Confused no
Puzzled yes
Thats the reason for the thread.
Honest - I try to be

That is possibly one area you are getting confused. I do find some cds/tvs very attractive, but only in the same way I find other women attractive. I do appreciate the beauty, effort and style they make have, but... as a straight woman, it will never turn me on unless they are able to keep hold of their masculinity while doing so.

Ohhhh noooo I'd rather rake my eyes out that screw him. I don't fancy Brad Pitt either, I think I must have a very unusual taste in men lol

Venus I totally agree with you here!
I have to admit it does nothing for me sexually whatsoever......but if i see a gorgeous convincing looking cd/tv I do compliment them on looking gorgeous, as i would any woman.
but a turn on....for me, unfortunately not....no offence intended, just not my thing.
each to their own, but personally, I wouldn't get turned on with a man dressed in womens clothes. I had a partner who was into it and (maybe narrow-mindedly) said that it was fine, but that I didn't really want to see it! redface
As for women in men-style suits...yes, very sexy!
Keeno, I don't think you are confused! It's an interesting thread!
Just a quick comment.
I have some stuff that would be considered female attire.
Suspender belt thing... stockings too... even had a dress... though when I bought it I thought it was a vest! honest.
but... though I have nothing at all against a cross-dresser, or whichever label we choose to employ... I don't think myself to be in any of those brackets.
The common thread with any of my dress-up malarky... is a kinky slant... usually latex... (though am considering leather). so whatever I do.. simply has to 'feel'right. The element of kink has allowed me to express and enjoy myself without the desire to have to label, box or pidgeon-hole. (for myself anyway)
I like what I do (for the record... there is a little more, or indeed less, to me than that too) and as I understand it, so do some others too! redface

Erm okay... I guess I should contribute, given that I have more than a passing interest (does it qualify as a fetish? dunno) in men who wear ladies' undergarments!
I think it's horny as feck to be honest. Something about the visual contrast of the hard, throbbing cock - icon of masculinity - wrapped up in a pair of feminine silky knickers... straining to get out. The dichotomy of masculine and feminine together.
Reaching out and stroking the cock through the silk or lace, feeling it stiffen... giving it a hard and probing lick... seeing it struggle...
Oh, who cares... I could try and explain it all night. But why bother? You either like it or you don't. I love it. Some of the truly most memorably erotic experiences I have had in my life have been with men who either crossdress or have a bit of an unerwear fetish or indeed those who identify as transvestites.
So yeah, cross dressing rocks!
Nola x
Nola, really good points.
Does this explain the atrraction of woman dressed as men?
