A question to answer a question but do you think she was vulnerable?
It's a hard one because she had the boyfriend there, who you would hope is going to look after her, but in all honersty If I thought there was going to be problems I would have had a word with the host/ess

Some time ago Mrs f and myself went to party local to me.
There is a weekly party held in a fairly large private house.
We got chatting to a young couple and it quickly became obvious that the young lady was VERY drunk and that she had started drinking early in the evening at home simply to pluck up the courage to come to the party !!
I tend to get very nervous before we have a meet & I tend to have a few drinks before I go out just to calm my nerves
We also suspected that she wasn`t entirely happy about being there and that it was all the boyfriends idea.
Did she say she wasn't entirely happy & it was all her boyfriends idea?
However, after we had chatted for a while she became much less agitated and stated quite clearly that she wasn`t so nervous now because we were such nice people and did we want to join them in the jacuzzi !!
Again, I start to relax more after a chat
This was our first visit to any form of party or club and in the circumstances, I quickly declined, despite the fact that she was very attractive to me and I suspected that Mrs f was liking the young man rolleyes
Do you think that this could have been your vulnerable side coming accross as a kind gentleman protecting a young lady dunno
Now ..I hadn`t realised just how attractive Mrs f had found the young man and when I later said to her
" If I`d realised, I would have said yes to going to the jacuzzi with them "
She said that I wouldn`t have because I`m too much of a gentleman lol
Anyway .... what do you think ?? Should we have stayed with them to keep her out of trouble or informed the hosts that we thought she was vunerable ?? :dunno:
I don't think that you were there to keep her out of trouble. It would have been her desicion to stay or leave/ play or not to play. If however she couldn't ie: stand up being so drunk then that would have been different. For me I would have spoke to the hosts. Good thought prokoking thread though hun
Good on you for turning the situation down flower

Yes , I suppose I should have made this bit clearer !!
I said "supected" because it was very difficult at some points to make out what she was saying. In hindsight, I suppose it worries me that she could have been under the influence of more than alcohol.
He did mention her reluctance to come to the party as well !
Sometimes it`s difficult do guage a situation when you are in completely alien surroundings wink
I would hasten to add that I`m not in the habit of refusing the advances of beautiful women just because I think they`ve had a couple of drinks !! lol
thanks for clearing that up hun & I quite agree now why you did. I would have done the same. kiss

In fact it just goes to show that not only was flower thinking with his head brain he may also, having both fully functioning, be able to multi-task !!
This is turning out to be a revelation to you ladies isn't it :lol2:
