SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.... i dont know if any of you guys have design programs on your puters, but i need help with an idea for my FIRST EVER tattoo!! I want someting small but attractive involving my name and stars. :shock:
So.......................... any ideas??? It's going on the bottom of my back!

You need to talk to my other half - she designed one of mine, and also one of my sisters - not that we're all covered in tattoo's mind you !!! 
She's registered on her own on the site, and I'll have a chat with her see if she's ok with it or not?
Just to give you an idea - my tattoo is on the top of my left arm (is all black) and is a myan (sp??) sun with a celtic/tribal swirl in the middle

Just a little thought for you Lou. Once the design is transfered onto you back stand up and check the positioning in a mirror. Both of us have tattoo's and when we had our backs done, we sat the wrong way round on a chair and leant forward so the skin was taughter, the artist then placed the transfer in position and we checked it in a mirror which looked fine. The artist then had us stand up to check position again and it was amazing how it moved downward in a standing position (and no our backs aint that fat that it was slump) thank god for a good tatooist otherwise they would have been lower than we wanted.
All the tattoists we have visited have been very proffesional and given good advice but just remember this aint henna and you need to get what you want where you want it.

Mine is just in the right place and the guy who do it was Fantastic I checked out a few places and the one in Chester was the best I took my own design in, he did a really first class job of my Kangaroo

The modern form is there :
(definitions are at the bottom of the page). It is composed of a character which means "woman" (bottom) and a character which means "rice", but looks like a star (top).
As a side note, the ancient form originally meant "leisure" and was composed of smaller characters which mean "Woman in the middle of doing nothing" - pure coincidence I guess
