Your new partners first Munch

Ok Here is a dilemma. You have been with a woman for eight months who is a sexual dynamite. :twisted: She has divorced from her one time sexual partner and stumbles on a naughty boy who introduces her to the SH site. biggrin

Ok I have done the munch but want her to enjoy. So We are down for Seans do at Northeast and whilst i know Sean arranged a cracking night last year, i wonder wether or not i take her to a HUGE do to allow her to feel insignificant (she is stunning) and blend in surprised

NE do looks big so hopefully OK first time big do or small do ?

I want it to be right Last year i was on my own and mingled and had a great time However would NOT have with foresight have taken a new swinging debutant to that do. looks more established this year so should be ok. She is very nervous so need to make sure i get this right

You at Northeast do? If so ill get her one night online to chat to you or others to ahem "bond" (no sexual link im sure) She and youi m sure would like to know you know someone there when you arrive.....
However after a few drinks it seems like you know everyone because they are so good fun . I tell you that from experience... Its a fact sexual people are more polite.

But it looks to me like it really doesn't matter if it's a small or big event - you're still gonna be all puffed up and proud as punch to have this lady on your arm cool

You're gonna be with her so she won't be on her own at all during the evening regardless of if it's a big or small do.
If it is a 'munch' that you're going to, then it will be a social event, the sauciest thing that will happen is a bit of light hearted banter with the occasional people that know each other, nothing else - size really doesn't come into it 8-)
If you're unsure or nervous or whatever - why don't you both agree just to go for an hour? Pop in, have a couple of drinks, say hi to everyone, quick chat and introduce your girlfriend ...... then go off out on you're own for a nice meal or something so you can talk it all over?

don't worry... sean the "stressed hostie" will be making sure that everyone is okay.....
i'll be drinking shandy all night again.......but if you want us to talk to her so she knows more than one person there... that would be good...... smile

Yes hun, you do that......get her online and we can chat....I only really have met one other person going and some of the others i have chatted to online already......

Sean I was so impressed last year i do hope you don't take this personally it was a purely selfish view. i wanted her to enjoy and be comfortable wink

She will like to mingle in a big group but i wante her to feel comfortable.
BUT you have a BIG list of people so hopefully i can get her there.
What i will say is Sean is a wonderful host and last year ermmmm i ahem umm i mean we cant say this but (i thought it was non contact) lol

I think you're making a mountain out of a molehill here.. sure, people get an attack of nerves whenever they do anything for the first time but it doesn't stop you doing it does it? She'll be fine m8, bring her along and enjoy the evening - you'll have a blast and then when she logs on afterwards she'll know dozens of people to chat to.
I'm hoping to take my partner to her first munch on that same night..... so we'll see you both there smile

To Be Honest I get attack of the nerves everytime i meet people socially or non socially
but that is me.
I have found after now attending my third munch i know people and can have a chat, as well has have platful banter.
I still rember my first munch London, I was ok until loads of people turned up I didnt know....
After a while i sat down had a chat got to know them and now have become good friends. Admitaly i keep having to send the cheques in the post.

Burton was my first munch. biggrin

I thought I'd be sat in a corner too terrified to speak to anyone and I was very nervous at first. In my case I had mids to help me feel secure and I'm sure it will be exactly the ame for your lady.
Let her roam when she feels comfortable and her confidence will grow as she discovers (as I did) that SH members are a lovely bunch - if slightly mad :P
Bring her, she'll love it!
