Last weekend, HungryPussy69 brought some vanilla tea bags, and I had vanilla cheese cake - scary ain't it :shock:

These forums and the people on them are so great. Rather than me forming a rigid view of events - I've always been able to be honest by sharing those views (which might be shared by others too) and then gain from the responses.

I know I will enjoy the next munch too - although it's clear that I need to rethink my uniform as HP is trying to jazz it up with fishnet stockings! :shock:

We are still planning to go to munches/etc (next one being the wigan uniform one). I think we will try going to pre-munch drinks next time so we get to know a few people before hand. :)

My first munch was on Saturday (North West Munch) - I went with my partner Hungrypussy69.
I really enjoyed it and got to put faces to many of the names I've seen in the forums smile (although my memory is so poor that I wish people had their forum pic on their badge or that I had brought a laptop along! :shock:).
BUT...
* I found myself greeting people coldly (not saying a lot and being stand offish) - that's shyness for you, I guess (but I still felt bad about that). Met, briefy, some very interesting people; would have loved to talked longer and got to know them more.
* Even though I tried hard for us not to hide away in a dark corner - we still found ourselfs on our own for most of the time. confused I guess a lot of people already knew each other.
I think I tend to think too hard! Like I said, we enjoyed it. :) But as usual I feel the need to share my feelings/thoughts/views on the forums. redface

Some noticed my "I don't play" sig disappearing...
Well sadly I have decided that my marriage wasn't doing me nor my wife any good. We gave it our best and even seeked outside help several times but there's a time when you have to accept the facts.
I'm getting divorced.
Emotionally I'm likely to be a mindfield - so I'm still not likely to play but I'll start enjoying myself by going to socials and munches smile
I would like to thank all of those that have given me their support (some spending many hours!) - sorry things haven't turned out the way some had hoped.
And a big thanks goes to a very special friend for their support, for helping me to rebuild my self esteem and for giving me hope for the future. All this without even meeting me! What an angel! kiss

It has been suggested that we should have a date about a month away - this is to allow those that only log on once a week to be able to join in too.

Nah (is that the right spelling lp?) - that's all bolloxs. You can't know what the other person is thinking/feeling without talking with them and so you can't be "seeing them" unless you both agree you're both seeing each other... maybe... confused OTOH if the point of knowing where the line is, is so to avoid crossing it then I'm completely clueless :? I think I will go and have a lay down...
