I consider myself a bold shopper but I do feel sorry for the cashiers at times.
Looking back I thnk the only time that might have been slightly strange was when the cahsier was scanning lubricant and condoms only to then have to scan some crayons and a coloring book I had picked up for my son. She just paused, looked slowly up at me, slowly down at my assortment and then shook her head as if to say 'It takes all sorts'.

Another thing I have found out as well, is that you can use an old mobile phone as a tracking device in your car if it is stolen.
Put a £5 top-up on the phone, hard wire the phone direct to the car battery. Turn on the phone. Hide it in the car behind dashboard or other place like door panels.
If the car is stolen, ring the phone in the car and inform your service provider and they can trace the location.
Dont know if it will work. I was told by a O2 call centre team leader ??????

How in the hell do you 'hard wire' your phone to the battery? Geezzz ... I know where the stereo and the steering wheel are!!!
New Years Eve is nearly here and I do NOT want to be sitting home getting all maudlin about the fact that I am here and single. Yes, I love being single but it does get a little hard around the holidays.
So I am going to be blunt about what I am looking for. I want someone to wine and dine me on New years Eve. I mean the whole nine yards. Nice dinner, wine, open the doors etc etc.
I am also going to be upfront and say that I am NOT promising any 'action'. It may happen but I do not want to be misleading. I have no problem travelling for the right date. I do expect to see recent face pics and also to talk on the phone beforehand.
I can already hear the question "What do I get in return then?" Well, you get an evening hopefully just as wonderful as what I am picturing. Wonderful conversation, fun company, great food and a New Years Eve to hopefully remember.
Please respond on here if interested. Thanks for your time in reading this somewhat bossy request.

Hell, I had to chase him down to get mine back. I ended up wearing Lil's shirt which was not very flattering on me ( anyone that saw can attest ) as it showed all the wrong wobbly bits!!! So walking up to Dammie and asking for mine back and then having to extract him from it due to the side zipper etc was amusing ... :shock:
