I must admit if we ever get an email or message from anyone and the spelling is atrocious it puts me off them straightaway.

Ooh must send you a message lol I very rarely make smelling pistakes
Waits quietly for someone to check posts and find some and take the p**s

But sure Jane Birkin was the girl doing the moaning
Relax.............Frankie goes to hollywood
Love to love ya baby...............Donna Summer
Je Taime...............was it Jane Birkin confused:
OMG........just looked at the latest locals on my members homepage......every one is less than 10 miles away.
Whenever I get email about them and check they're always 100 mile away at least.. confused
Moral is I suppose......check home page more often
Anyone else found the same thing :?:

Hi Tara, im in bradford is that any good?

Did you actually look at Tara's profile?
He's a guy!!
Must admit it can be confusing when guys use girls names for profile
I filled mine in and it has caused me a bit of grief from some people, because it states married, but I play alone. I could have lied like I'm sure some people do on here, but don't see the point. Life is too short to to justify why I do things. Had I left it full of N/A's it would probably have been a different matter.
I have never been asked in a club whether I'm married or not.
As far as pics go I have face pics etc in my private gallery which people get to see after chatting for a while, and in the event of arranging a meeting.
As for the emails telling me about new local contacts I might be interested in, total waste of time, never seen anyone in them remotely local to me.
Would have to book short holiday to meet most of them lol
Right said my bit, will now duck out of the way and wait for the anti married men brigade to jump on me bolt
Well I work from home, or should I say used to until this addictive site got it's grips into me.
Business will never be the same again lol
definitely not as much fun as this, thats for sure

i want to make sure both people definatly want to take it further if we do get along as i have been in situations when ther guy has been keen but the woman hasn't.. and vice versa....so i normally have one on one chats with both to make sure they are both okay.....

I'm with Fabio on this one.
I once met a couple and it was disastrous.
Bad feeling from the start and she was very very nervous. He was telling her what to do all the time and she was obviously not into it.
I managed to have a word with her when he went to the loo. She said he had badgered her in to it and she wasn't at all sure.
I made my excuses and left.
Very embarrassing situation all round, and I felt really sorry for her.
So yes, definitely speak to all concerned first every time.

Just a thought, as the problem is with MSN, have you ever thought of asking them? I don't personally use the system, so don't know if they have an FAQ / Help section.
Ian

Hi Ian,
yes first thing I did was look at their help section, faq, as with a lot of these things not very helpful lol
cheers Baz

Also, if you are running zone alarm it can interfere. Especially if you are using a broadband router with built in firewall.

Thanks tonup, yeah I know zonealarm can cause problems, even tried turning it off briefly, but no different. Not using a router.

It could also be you ISP....I use Wanadont, I mean Wanadoo.... and I've had problems with using M*N and a cam, amongst other things.... Me and my flatmate are looking into using another provider because (according to them) we have downloaded 100 gig since December..... I find that hard to believe as although my flatmate has d/l stuff, not as much as that, and the contract (unless its in invisible ink and the size of a microdot) states that there's no limit.....
It also might be that your computer is clogged up by spyware etc.....there are plenty of programs out there that sorts this out, usually they are freeware.....Or you might need to "defragment" your hard drive(s) too (in case you dont know what that means, which you probably do - I dont mean your intelligence if thats the case , it is a way of sorting out all the information on the drives and makes them more efficient. You'll be able to do this by "right clicking" the drive you want and go to tools then "defragment drive".....depending on your operating system),
Hope that helps

Thanks PLUM,
my isp is tiscali, never had any problems with them.
Feel I should probably point out part of my job is with computers, programming and have done some IT work in the past, so fairly technical and PC literate.
I defragment my drive on a regular basis, and same with spyware etc.
Haven't a clue what the problem could be, or even if it's my problem and not the other persons.

cheers bazzaNW... hard to diagnose the problem from here
but its possible to have something 'hogging' the cpu
but if u can right click your mouse in the blue toolbar at the bottom of your screen go to task manager then click on the processes tab you will find a list of all the stuff running on your pc
note down anything running under the cpu tab at anything over 20 please note the system idle runs at over 90 & is not an issue here....
post the results here incase anyone else can help...
I wont be one sh until monday eve... but I will look in on this one for you when I get back ok

Cheers redpantherman,
have checked and the only things over zero were system idle at 92, and iexplore which was at 51.
Lost for ideas now, but thanks everyone.
Need some lovely ladies to cam with to test the theory of whether it is me or not lol
All offers in a PM  and don't all rush at once
Bazza xxx
Hi Shaz n Tony,
no nothing like that, just standard laptop, running XP professional.
It may have been the other persons PC, not sure yet, first time I used the cam.
cheers

There's your problem. It's designed to run best on the top of a mountain. It doesn't like being this close to sea level. Have you tried sticking some books under the table legs to get a bit more height?

Nice one DJohn,
well spotted.
Not like me to make smelling pistakes usually lol

But seriously do you know of a fix or have you still got problem.
Hi all,
anyone had trouble with webcam running very slow on MSN?
I have a Logitech cam, running 2 meg broadband. In msn setup etc it runs fine, but when I send video as soon as it connects it runs very slowly or freezes.
Any help welcome
Thanks

Quote by mik69
To put it bluntly any fool can bullsh*t his way through a couple of MSN chats and a phone call
where as if he is more in the public eye like you are in the forum or chat room people will pick up on what type of person he is.

What Mik says is very true, but a lot of conversations go on in the chatrooms by means of whispering, therefore not in the public eye.
As far as clubs go I can't imagine any guy trying it on once things got going if you have set the ground rules first, most guys including myself are happy just to play if that's all you wanted. Some are happy just to have a chat and a laugh even, unbelieveable I know, but still true
You obviously spend some time in forums with the number of posts you have done, so I would definitely say try your luck in forums and chatrooms.
As far as ads are concerned, yes, you will receive lots of replies, but if you haven't got time to hang round forums, have you got time to sort the good from the crap replies to your ad. Don't forget a lot of people on here are not full members so even if you got a reply, and you replied to them, they can't read it.
Best of luck if you decide to try, shame I'm not bi lol
