I have a fear of hairdressers, especially female ones (wonder if there is a name for that?) and once I find one, I just won't go to anyone else. Three years ago, I went 15 months without getting my hair cut because my hairdresser had packed in and I just couldn't face going into another shop. Finally, I found another one and he's just the best. The only downpoint is that he works almost 75 miles away from me. This is not so bad if I can get a lift to the hairdressers as it only takes about 90 minutes in the car but I hate the days when I have to get two buses and it's a 3 hour trip each way
I've been reminded of another passion of mine...finding a hairdresser I am comfortable with.
