HDD failure wouldn't result in a blank screen as the BIOS is resident on an Eprom chip, so its independant of the hard drive.
A blank screen is more of an indication of a power fault or a fault with the screen/ graphics card

I think the only ugly thing is the attitiude that everyone should be pleasing to YOUR eye.
As a bbw i`ve never had to try hard believe me, and i never would, sexiness comes from within not just the bits you see.
Conceitedness and shallow opinions arent very endearing qualities. Not all "fit looking" people are beautiful, i think you have just demonstrated that point perfectly.

to Quote 'The true etymology isn't completely certain, because what with being impolite, the word was spoken rather more than it was written down. The OED's first citation is from 1503, although it seems to have been used a bit earlier than that in a poem written in a mixture of bad Latin and Middle English, tentatively dated to around 1480. The said poem states "non sunt in celi quia fuccant uuiuys of heli" (they are not in Heaven because they are fucking the wives of Ely) - referring to some less than holy monks. Sources also note that a man named John le Fucker is recorded as living in London in 1278.
Anyways, the word may in fact come from a Scandinavian word meaning "to push", another Scandinavian word meaning "penis", a German word meaning "to scratch", a Latin word meaning "to knock" or any or all of the above. No one really knows'
Aternatives are tupping - but that refers to Rams and Ewes
However i like the question - 'would you like to play?' - it conveys the message adequately.
Anyone fancy bumping curlies?

ok, so after saving my laptop once, dagging it from the jaws of the skip with dextrous manipulation of 'f'-keys and 'safe-modes'... resetting to 'factory' and even having the wireless come back from the dead as a result....
.... my un-dead zombie lappy was only pacing listlessly through the park in search of flesh awaiting it's inevitable demise at the hands of a baseball bat wielding starlett, or simply falling to it's knees in it's own filth for lack of sustanance...
It's dead!
or is it?
I try to revive it. Lightening rods and van derGraff Generators abound, though now the twice dead lappy will do no more than show a power light... with the occasional (and I mean 'occassional') flash from the disc activity light thiningie.
the screen is as dark as my soul... I hear it breathing, but that appears to be just an automatic responce.
Is there hope?
