There is activity in Devon and Cornwall etc ( Fem would know more about Cornwall than me), but it is more discreet.
Many couples meet at house parties, and these are held all over. Its a case of getting known.
We had two meets from this site in Plymouth last year, and at the second, we had about 40 members along biggrin

Club wise, the ones I know of, are in Totnes and Torquay. I believe the one in Exeter, has closed. I gather there are other clubs, but not exactly sure where.
If your into BDSM, there are clubs for that down here too.
I think basically, its a case of get known, have a bit of patience, and a lot of fun :D

A US man who threw a mouse onto a pile of burning leaves could only watch in horror as it ran into his house and set the building ablaze.
Luciano Mares, 81, of Fort Sumner, New Mexico, found the mouse in his home and wanted to get rid of it.
"I had some leaves burning outside, so I threw it in the fire, and the mouse was on fire and ran back at the house," he was quoted as saying by AP.
Though no-one was injured, the house and everything in it was destroyed.

I agree with all that, but if its a built up area, I am happy to pootle along at 20 - 30 mph. I think those that race past schools etc, should be prosecuted, and possibly banned.
Out on the open road, game on as far as I am concerned :D If the conditions are suitable, most modern cars / motorbikes are far in advance of the speed / braking distances that are quoted in the Highway Code etc, and Policemen I have spoken to, share this opinion.
If speed enforcement is to be applied, it should be a level playing field for all, and not let off police officers, or Royalty etc that may happen to be travelling at 110 mph.
As for the sprays, or plexi glass methods of avoiding cameras photographing your plate, as said, they dont work. Mud is the cheapest option :D
Road Angels are very good, but very expensive.
Failing that, I think a shotgun will stop most cameras taking a pic lol

There are sites on the net, that have some very interesting information about how not to get fined innocent

I'm not advocating braking the law, but it increasingly seems, some laws only apply to the common person sad

I organised the last two, which so far have been the only ones from this site down here.
I was planning on something again this year, but with the site split up, and the various changes, and the agro that goes with the organising, I'm not sure i will now confused

Although i still might. I shall need to check on who's interested, and reread any changes to the meet regulations.
Another member was interested in organising something, down this way. So they might advertise something :D
There are some great people down here, I think we had about 40 members to the last meet :D
If anyone wants to organise anything in this neck of the woods, and you want any advice, just drop me a PM :D
Other than that, keep an eye on the threads :D

I think some of your points are fair. Just before the site changed hands, there was an increase in the newbie bashing etc, and I have to say, it was often unfair. There were some as has been said, who deserved to be shot down in flames, others were just not given a chance.

We have def noticed a drop in interest & are sure it's because the ad is not there long enough icon_

As for the drop in interest in adverts. I have to say the, the search button was your friend, but no longer sad

I have neither the time, nor the inclination, to trawl through loads of adverts, until I find one in my area :cry: If the search button came back, then it would be most useful.
I have also just noticed, an advert advertising viagra on here. If the site gets spamed by these sorts of adverts, then it would be even more to trawl through evil

So for me the adverts, are now a waste of time
