Still feel very new sometimes I was bullied too, for various reasons, but there was one girl who had her life made a misery by a couple of lads who taunted her because she was deaf, and had to wear hearing aids. She was intelligent, very pretty and popular, but as bullies always do, they targeted on her deafness.
One day they really went too far by pushing her around and teasing her about the fact that her speech was "not normal" (according to them

I saw red and i pushed one of them down the grassy bank and onto the tarmac path leading out of the school. The other one was shook very vigorously until two teachers (and they had difficulty getting me off him) seperated us. I don't normally lose my temper that badly, but it was the final straw for me. I'd had it up to "Here". I was so incensed when the teachers tried to get me off him I nearly decked one of them as I was so angry.
To say that I hate bullies is a F*****g understatement.....

Lissa, the technology does exist for disabling Mobiles, but at the moment it's impractical as it's still to bulky to fit to cars and secondly at the moment it would also interfer with other types of technology.....:shock:
I would invent a better way of communicating to others.....perhaps finally getting holographic devices so that we can actually see the person you are talking to (okay, I watch FAR too much sci-fi....:shock: )

However, that url I posted is of a forum that you can ask specific questions about maintenance (as far as I can tell), so hopefully you may find the answer there.....

Hornyinslough, if the room host is hosting the room properly they will see the whispers you paste in the main chat and they should take action, by warning the offender then booting them if they persist.
Otherwise as Jags has mentioned pm one of us Ops (names in purple on the forum) with the user name, chat server and chatroom name and we will look into it

When I was an Op this used to help me do my job of warning people as it can be difficult to pick out things like that as most chat room users know (it didn't help that my connection was slow as hell either....
)Best thing to do is to say that you aren't interested. If they persist tell an op or the owner of the room.
Pololady, I've come to realise that the Maxim "what will be, will be" is relevant to nearly everything....including cracking one off.....
If the other person was worth anything (besides the aforementioned tumble) then they'd either ignore it (and be polite) or they would use it to make any tension (or nerves if they exist) disappear by making light of it.....

I agree with Minxy about men going more for the physical attraction whereas women tend to pick up on the more subtle hints as we're generally better at reading body language than men.
