There is nothing Postmodern about this research, I think you should read about Post modernity before you comment again. However there has indeed been a lot of research about brain Physiognomy and sex (not gender let’s not miss understand, and use them synonymously please) there have been found to be cell density levels found in (biological) transsexuals at the same level as those found in females and brain structure has been found to be very similar with small ancient centre and hippocampus areas as well as the use of 2 communication centres as found in women but not in men. The whole chromosome area should be left well alone though as it has been found in the great genome experiment which has been going on for years, that males can be xy or xx and some xy females have been found as well as the obvious xxy etc, the xx-v-xy defining sex has been shown to be by no means definitive. This is an area of research for myself and I have found that there are no clearly defined set reasons for homosexuality or Transsexuality, there are some of both that can be clearly seen to be biologically determined, however there are some who are undoubtedly sociologically constructed as well.
