not yetthey aint lol.
asume there's not much down that way
cheers TP - appreciate it
we dont do pre-arranged meets - we just turn up where and wehn we like - that way it's far more fun - and rewarding for both parties. and as for the demands of the so-called doggers to wind the window down or open the door so they can get in on the action - they are the ones who tend to scare couples off who are solely interested in just showing. if we want to let someone have a grope etc, we'll decide who and when (as we have done in the past to the more 'proper' doggers.)
we not against anyone chosing to meet, that's there choice, we've tried it a couple of times in the past, the main problem today is the boy racers/drug takers/non-doggers activities that goes on in car parks that makes it more difficult for us all to get out and about.
we've now found two decent places near us - and we use them instead - once with a very appreciative gentleman who thanked us before he left. - nice touch that.
we too drag a caravan - after using saloon cars a 4x4 is simply the best. nice to see other caravaners on this site too :P
I found this on another forum and thought it may be of interest.
Autocar Magazine list 55 vehicle manufactures producing 3042 different model variations.
Of the 3042 vehicle variations not one vehicle falls into the zero road tax bracket of 100 CO2 or below (not even the Smart diesel as reported on radio 4 yesterday) and only 88 of the 3042 vehicle variations will see the road tax reduction. 470 vehicle variations will get the reduction and 571 variations will remain paying the current road fund licence
The cleverly hidden part is the largest group by far, the normal family car / repmobile. They will face an increase of cunningly hidden by putting the spot light on us 4x4 drivers!
Of the 586 vehicle variations that fall into the NEW band G (225 CO2 and above) only 130 are true 4x4 (offroad) vehicles. Therefore the remaining 456 variations are sports or other luxury execcutive vehicles.
Although new Band G have been hit the hardest ( increase on new cars) us 4x4 drivers have been used as an effective smoke screen to hide the REAL whipping "Mr Anti 4x4 Joe Public" has taken (average £25 increase) but won't realise until they renew their tax!
just an update - we took the dog over there earlier, lots of 'funny-looking' suspicios guys around as well as local wardens.
we were given the once over until the dog jumped out the car then they lost interest! paranoia or what ay?
Heard that there was a concerted effort to crack down (pun intended) on drugs and aother undesireable visitors.
we had similar thing the other night - went to a new location, had a cuddle and i noticed two blokes watching from a car. we carried on and the guys - being really polite - just stood back and watched while enjoying themselves.
we finished, they smiled, waved and thanked us as we drove off - restores your faith a little bit ay?
we been up once or twice lol
not so much now with all the attention it gets and boy racers etc
the well-known places are just that - well-known! We used to have some great times with the locations before they became media attention hot-spots with sometimes up to 7 blokes politely watching the show.
now though, it seems that unless you get your kit off and open the door within 2 minutes of switching your engine off, you're greeted with downright rudeness etc which is why we hardly bother going out now. instead we just go for a drive and stop when we feel like it.
some folk want more than just a show and that attitude scares my wife so we tend to try and pick our spots more carefully and avoid the well-known ones especially as you now get hoardes of drunken drug-taking boy racers playing music louder than the local disco and doing wheel spins etc.

cut your losses mate - I'd try saying to her one more time about the money she 'promised' to pay you back and if she tries to stall, just say to her "get in touch with me and let me know when you're ready to pay some back" and hang up.
that way it's up to her to get in touch with you - but I doubt she will.
Tough break mate - hope the next one is better.
I got 560 - the wife got 002 - now I'm worried! :P
the chase has had loads of bad PR lately so we only go up there sometimes now - and keep away from the busy places.
we went up two nights running, and drove off both nights as one guy watching is cool - 6 snotty noses up against the glass aint - come on guys, give us a break - we hadn't even turned the engine off!!
i like the idea of the newpaper - do you stick it to the glass with wallpaper paste or something else.... :P
or a twirly bow tie perhaps!!!!!
better yet, don't hunt in groups - really puts the women off
we just might try it tonight, if it's not too hot or too busy with idiots that is lol
the problem with the chase is that there's lots of boy racers around now and quiet secluded places just aint that anymore.
we go over sometimes but go for a walk now - that way we're away from the 'busy' car parks. that way you can also see the person wandering around easier - and then decide if you want to show or not.
No way - night time it's a den of dark misdeeds and not suitable for a lady!
