These three things are what i would save without a doubt in my mind.
The framed drawing that my older brother gave my dad of my dear departed dog. I had her my whole life so despite the fact shes been gone nearly six years that picture still means the world to me.
I would grab my old training hockey stick. It was the first hockey stick i ever brought and played with so it obviously has sentimental value to me, even if it did tear my hands up the last time i used it because the edges were so rough.
I would also grab my full length ice hockey stick, shes the one that won me the most games and the one i scored the most goals with. Shes beautiful and is probably the most important object i own.

If all goes to plan with my health, I will be there on Friday, don't know what time yet, staying both nights :bounce:
I dont have any cooking facilities, so a communal meal would still get my vote, and according to the website, it looks like we can buy cooked breakie on the site.
I was wondering if it would be an idea to ask if the owner has an outbuilding, or barn or something that we could hire between us for a communal area in case it's raining?
Maybe for us to have the communal meal, whichever night that is, and the auction and drinks, and if anyone brings music we could have a boogie too. (and I could wear my fancy dress instead of having a saddo fancy dress party with meself in me tent

I'll have a little bit of a drink party in your tent whatever the weather! kiss
I have to get the train to london victoria and then travel on the tube....ive never done that on my own before

Based on over 2000 survey results, here are what fellow campers consider essential camping gear - food, sleeping bag, tent, water, first aid kit, torch, knife, change of clothes ie: wet weather gear, lantern, and stove. Bug spray if near water. fold away chair
I know we are only staying 2 nights, but on speaking to someone the other day they had forgotten about a torch  Thanks for your discretion wino :giggle:
Somewhere I have a water container but if any one else has one that would be handy. (in case i cant find it )
I suggested a gazebo to put over the BBQ in case of rain and showers at the moment seem very likely
Now youve said that rain has been forcasted....you jinxed it!
Table to put food on ?
BBQ utensils ?
Pete sorry if this has been sorted in PM's

Hi everyone wave
Well after running around the countryside like a headless chicken for the past 2 days I think I have pulled the rabbit out of the hat.
I have found a new site which in my opinion may suit our purposes better, it’s a family run site (very nice friendly people) very relaxed attitude, the setting is idyllic, the (brand new) toilet, shower, washing facilities are positively luxurious, they are not too worried about numbers or tent size, and we can have individual bbq’s / gas cooking outside our tents, the only request is that we do not scorch the grass.
The field we have been allocated is very secluded but boasts some wonderful views.
I am now in the process of compiling PM’s to everyone with the full details so please be patient, I should have gotten to all of you by this evening.

Well isnt that a shame! rolleyes :giggle:

Dont panic Drew!
The field is plan B. Anyway, who wouldn't want to get back to nature?
(Winchy has a private chuckle safe in the knowledge she'll be in the nuddy on a sun drenched greek beach.....)
litter trays! why didn't I think of that!

Get back to nature? Like when we used to live in caves, threw stones at our own shadows and died of old age and fear at 22? Not sure i want to !
Ok this is going to be a problem for me then since i dont have a debit card at the moment....just cash, so if we have to pay direct then i guess im fecked
Well if its any concilation even i look at some of the kids about at the moment and think *in my day....*
There was just a report about paris on the news.....i didnt catch it though, i was too busy breathing

thats a shame...nothing sexier than a pregnant woman! :rascal:

I can think of a few sexier things, would you like a list?
No thanks!
Good!
I remember when i was 11 i went on a french exchange. Me and one boy didnt wear sunscreen, we got sunburnt so bad that we had HUGE blisters on our shoulders.....lovelly
I remember when i was younger i used to go to the new forest and stay at a place called ladycross every year to stay in one of the cottages. I think we stayed in all of them at least once. I remember going on alot of bike rides, i had a spectacular crash one year and actually dented my head! I was lucky enough to go abroad one i was younger though.

The worse thing that ever happened to me occured after a bit of a drunken night out. I had gone out that night with my cousin and hooked up with one of her friends (she loves that habit of mine rolleyes) well we decided to steal my cousin's house keys and go back to the flat. Things were getting interesting and we were having a pretty good time so i thought it was about time i went *downstairs* naturally at that very moment i realised just how ill i was feeling....I threw up there and then.....suprisingly she was pretty understanding.
