Tally Ho
Hi, we're undecided between Infusion and Partners this Saturday evening. Both clubs can be quiet ocassionally, so if there are any couples out there with similar plans it would be lovely to know we won't be on our own!
Thanks

Relieved the hear that, but 'one swallow doth not a summer make etc...'
Perhaps the practice of 'write it as it sounds' has contributed in some small way to this growing national lethargy - much to the dissapointment of would-be employers seeking a modicum of literacy, articulation in their candidates.

...about our great english language which daily receives blows from ... our schools ...

Not from my classroom it doesn't!
Couldn't agree more.
The old adage about 'first impressions etc' still holds true to those genuine folks who care not only about their preparation, appearance and perception but also about our great english language which daily receives blows from the world of IT, our schools and even, dare I say the bastion of supposed British culture, the BBC.

Ah, bad spelling and grammar - one of my pet hates mad
On ads. etc? My honest opinion is that it looks so bad. That includes text speak too... lazy, lazy, lazy, lazy! Making errors in post titles is the very worst confused
Now, I know that there are people who may suffer from dyslexia etc but I think if you're advertising anything on a public forum then that's their first point of contact with you and you need to get it right, or get someone to check it, at least!
Just my opinion and I'm not trying to be offensive to anyone :P
Aha! try this one then...

That's what I want to know dunno I've just been for a mooch in the LMU and it's littered with threads such as 'Is there any genuine cpls?' and Is there women who want to meet?'
Is it just me being pedantic or does bad grammar put you off? I know we all make spelling mistkes ( the edit button is my best friend ) but people who can't string a sentence together properly just get me riled. Text-speak is even worse !
or maybe it's because I was almost conned by a Nigerian scammer that I get very wary of people who don't seem to grasp their supposed first language.
maybe I'd better have more coffee bolt

Well I would go 4-4-2 and I would play Own because Crouch is on a yellow. Yes I know we need to win to see if we play the 1st or 2nd place of our opposing group but I think Crouch is underrated and we need him for the final 16!
Just a girls point of view!
biggrin

You sure you're not a bloke in a skirt?
Nope a guy would know how to spell Owen...
This girl can spell Owen... just didn't know you were so intersted in my typing skills though! Thanks for paying such close attention. flipa
Ooops! ... Yellow cartds all round then.

Definitley like to see one up the middle, all exposed gaps thoroughly filled, plenty of long balls with a great finish from any team member who feels up to raising their game.
